After seeing the class for over a year from the sidelines (while babysitting a child who went here) I really wanted to join in myself! During my time at Satori (though brief because I moved a few months after starting), the school was more than willing to work with my needs to bring the best out of me. The child I babysat was special needs and they worked with him to keep him up with the rest of the class without making him feel different. I am so thankful for my time there, everyone was absolutely fantastic. The staff are great at keeping their students motivated and wanting to come back for more for both children AND adults. I would absolutely recommend Satori to anyone who is looking into joining martial arts.
We have been a part of the Satori family for 4 years. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the group of instructors and staff at Satori. They are kind, beyond patient, and go out of their way to help their students.
The curriculum is solid, and it's taught in a fun, positive environment. In addition to the Martial Arts curriculum, there are lessons that teach invaluable life skills, and opportunities for community service projects. You truly do feel part of a family here.
I have recommended Satori to several of my friends in the past, and will continue to do so in the future.
love the school, my family has been attending classes for many years. My oldest started when she was 5 and is now 17. My youngest has been training for 8 years. My wife and I have been training for 5 years. We love the environment at the school, its a family. They have been flexible with us through out our time with the school.

Despite having our 7 and 10 year old part of the Satori "family" for 2 years, and referring 3 different families, they showed absolutely no flexibility with their cancellation policy that requires a 3 month notice. Imagine having to explain to your child who has lost interest and wants to try different activities that they have to continue for another 100 days before moving on. This mentality may be appropriate for a gym membership or educational course, but not for a kids recreational program. I hope their understanding of member retention and customer satisfaction improves in the future, but for now they have lost our business.

The instructors are not just incredibly experienced and passionate about martial arts, but they truly care about every child that comes through their doors. Satori Academy's students are instilled with lessons that span far beyond martial arts; Satori Academy promotes respect, honesty, perseverance, integrity, and so much more. These traits are practiced by students on and off the mat which creates an amazing and safe setting for children to train.

An amazing school with wonderful instructors! The focus is not only on teaching martial arts to kids but also on instilling good values in them to enable them to be good human beings . The talk at the end of the class deals with topics like bullying , how to deal with strangers which impacts the young minds and equip them to handle such situations!! Fully satisfied!! Keep up the good work!!
Gorgeous facility and engaging, experienced instructors. Service is outstanding and the life lessons that transfer off the mat can't be matched.
I have personally witnessed the positive transformation these children have undergone. Some children enter the school shy or timid or some enter in need of better focus or discipline. Aside from learning self defense, the kids are also learning life skills necessary to enable them to be their best by instilling confidence and a greater sense of self esteem. Renshi Torie Rovere and Shidoshi Joe Bondi are by far two of the best instructors I have ever seen. They reach the kids on a level that creates an atmosphere of trust and security.
Satori Academy has been a positive experience for my daughter. She has been with Satori for 5 yrs now and loves going to every class. The instructors are absolutely the best.
AMAZING SCHOOL...My son has been at Satori for about a year and we've really noticed some positive changes. They not only teach the kids martial arts but they build character in them and teach them self discipline and how important making the right choices are. The instructors are great with the kids, and we are just so thankful to be part of the Satori family!
