Clean and not busy in the mornings. Has all the basics from cardio to squat racks. You are going to pay more that $10 a month, but not too predatory for a gym - annual fee, signups fee, multiple gym fee, etc. Lots of homeless take showers there in the morning but not too bad.

So I originally was signed up to the blue diamond location, and I wanted to go to this one, but my member restriction didn't allow me. To upgrade, I would have to go down to the blue diamond location. The staff let me work out and the manager Jim said he'd take care of the upgrade so I don't have to drive 30 minutes to the other location. The staff has always been very friendly and I've never had a bad experience. Equipment is always functional and clean.

Fitness for 10 is a lie. Price is significantly greater than $10 per month. And they claim that their fine print says that cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance. And they claim that cancellations cannot be made over the phone or over the internet, and therefore tough luck if you move to some faraway place.

I cancel my membership with the gym I signed up a paper and I still being charged monthly

This is my 3rd year with this gym. I belonged with them at their Sahara and Decatur locale and moved over with them. Was reluctant to move to a smaller facility, but found it cozy and easy to do my thing... until recently. I witnessed the new GM "threaten" a customer with "If these cameras weren't on us now..." and "Go ahead and call corporate, who do you think they are going to believe..." and the demeaning conversation out of his mouth towards the member was appalling. After speaking with the member, he said he spoke to corporate about the incident and and corporate said, "It looks you need to find another gym to go to." I followed suit and found another gym, yes, even with a few months left on my membership. I'm somewhere now where they respect their members... not intimidate them.

Subscriptions cannot be cancelled via phone or internet. Tough luck for people who have moved to a far away place.

Not really "Fitness for $10" if there's a $40 charge in the beginning, another $10 for first month, then 6 months later another $40. More like $18/mo on average. Stupid games, pass.

Disappointed to say the least! And "I live right across the street." If you like trainers that are stuck-up and there for just a paycheck then you found the right place. The treadmills are rundown the monitors on them are busted. Some headphone jacks don't work and one was even hanging by a wire from the machine. The benches are old and cracked. (gave me a rash) Even at their price, "it feels like they are ripping me off."
