amenities won't blow you away but the place is always clean in the morning when I go so it gets a good grade. For the price you won't find better.

Signed up online and went in to get my membership card, t shirt, tour, and sign up for that first free class. I think with the black card you get the wifi too? When I walked in the girl at the counter asked if she could help me and I told her I had just signed up online and was coming in to get my stuff so I could start using the gym. She told me she needed to take my picture for the membership so we did that then she handed me my card and told me to have a nice day. I asked her if I could use the other location with this card and she said yes and looked at me waiting for another question I suppose. After a few second I said ok thanks and walked out. I had my bag with gym clothes in the car and wanted to get started right then but I wasnt offered a tour or to get signed up for the first free class they mention online or hours of the gym or anything. There were 2 guys behind her at the counter and one was texting and couldnt be bothered to look up and give me any info and another guy that was looking right at us and listening to us talk but not saying anything.
I went to the sign up location in South Reno and signing people up was the Northtowne manager. I let him know about my experience and he was very nice and apologized for their behavior. The manager is nice enough but I probably still wont visit that location again based off of my first impression. I made it a point to try again but at the Sparks location this time. Staff was much nicer but didnt have much to say either. I had to prompt them to tell me where things were and how things worked. Still wasnt asked about the class and forgot to ask them. No tour there either. I wonder if the computer tells them it's my first check in there? The gym was very nice. Everything seemed very clean and someone put some real thought into the set up at this location. Awkward machines you wouldnt really want people watching you use are off in separate areas and facing a wall.
Overall this is a nice gym but staff really needs some help brushing up on customer service skills. Hopefully South Reno location has their best employees working there.

I've been traveling and worked out here for about a week. I loved the staff and they helped me with accessing the wifi. This gym appears to have good management. It's never crowded and I can always get a massage chair. Loved it. I will be back.

Been going for the last few months and love going. It's usually never busy when I go, which means I can use machines or weights without having to share or wait.
There is enough space for each machine without it feeling too cluttered.
There are paper towels and spray bottles all over the gym to maintain a fresh and clean environment while working out.
For the price, it's a good place to work out at, can't complain!

Really great facility with super friendly staff. WAY better than the other location in Reno. The people in Sparks are so much nicer, friendlier, and the Sparks location just has a much better vibe.

One thing I don't like is that posted rules aren't enforced. This kind of thing has always bothered me; it means discretionary enforcement which inevitably leads to discriminatory enforcement.
I assume upper management doesn't care. And that's fine. But why not take down the signs with the unenforced rules?

Would like to see mu rating go back up. Was a good gym then they started taking stuff out. First it was the scale because they don't want people to judge. Stupid reason, now you cant even weigh in at a gym. They took out the key holder and coat rack as well. So now we need to walk around the gym with our keys? Hope they dont take out the mirrors and gym equipment because it makes people insecure. We need to get America back on track, not baby people all the time. Not sure how much longer i plan on using this gym.

This is a pretty good gym, I travel to Reno a bit for work and got a membership for when I'm in town. It is smaller than what I am use too but there is plenty of equipment and it is usually not packed.

Great gym. I go early in the morning so not crowded. The equipment and facility is very clean. Friendly staff

For $20/month not bad. The bathrooms and showers are usually not very clean, but overall okay.

Very friendly staff in the mccarren location and my trainer cierra is sooo wonderful and nice!

Close to home and open almost all the time.
Cheap monthly rate.
Hardly any free weights.
No "grunting" rule in effect.
Great for starting out or getting back into a routine.

Chill, DL, low key. I like this place and just wanted my personal space to be respected as I was using the facility. I appreciate your response and I have followed thru with the I instructions you indicated. The "manager" was the person that needs redirection as you can clearly see in the photos that I have provided. I think his behavior was rude, and I would appreciate not encountering the chemicals sprayed on my machine while in use as well as major housekeeping done in a safe and respectful manner preferably later in the evening around 11pm when it's a ghost town. After all, we are the reason Planet Fitness is great.

I loved Planet Fitness in the Sparks location, BUT the NEW establishment makes me WANT to go workout everyday!! It's really brought fun back into my routine. Tons more equipment, a 360 workout space, a total body wellness infared bed, AQUA MASSAGE BEDS, & everything is new! Winning!!! Always greeted with a smile and by name! KUDOS! Shout out to Jordan who has ALWAYS helped answer questions & give his best advice along my fitness journey! He's a genuine guy & you can tell he cares about his job and the success of the business! I love this place! It's my happy place! Thank you guys!

My husband and I spent a few days at this location when we were in town recently. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the locker rooms and showers (we also had plenty of hot water). Clean exercise equipment; good free-weights selection; loved the water bottle filling station. Overall a great PF experience.

I'm a former Professional Athlete that formerly was at a 'competitive' atmosphere gym. I'm not interested in that anymore, just staying fit and Planet fitness is a great atmosphere to do your thing and not feel like you are competing with others...Although I do miss not having a hot tub, steam room or sauna at these gyms, I've enjoyed my experience as a member going on 2 years now. And just saw that a planet fitness opened up closer to home so that was great to see!

By far the worst PF I've been too! The staff that was on duty was more worried about looking at his girlfriend's laptop than helping customers. I've been to PF's around the country & always found them very clean, except this one. Shower floors are covered in soap scum & body oils, doesn't look like they've been cleaned in months. Definitely needs a better manager. Like I said I travel from coast to coast & use PF daily, this one was not up to your standards, sorry.

This Planet Fitness in Sparks, NV does not have total body fitness machine or hydromassage beds. There is never hot water for showers even after letting it run for over half an hour. Had two minutes of Luke warm water in that entire time. And have tried numerous occasions. The treadmill set up is inconvenient for free movement to other areas. It needs to be split not solid where you have to go all the way to one end or the other when you just need to get through the middle. Staff is not always helpful or pleasant. Needs shelves or chairs in changing rooms.

I really like coming here except for the staff. They're constantly on their phones and it looks like they're taking pictures of people. I've also heard one of the workers say negative things about some of the members to another staff and they're always laughing. It makes me feel VERY uncomfortable. I thought this place was supposed to be judgement free?

24 hour access, except limited weekend hours. Clean. Says $10/month on window, but there are added start up fee & annual fee.

I like planet fitness it's beautiful inside and I wish I had a member ship I would like to work out
