I have been a regular for nearly three years and because the staff make a comfortable and clean space for me to achieve my fitness goals, I have easily made exercise part of my life style. There is a lot of different equipment and I can honestly say I never feel bored! I like the pool area, most of the people are pretty friendly there. I look forward to the good workout vibes around there!

I've been attending this gym for over 4 years now and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the equipment is always top notch and on trend with the most current and up-to-date machines. So many amenities for such an affordable price with friendly staff and so many classes to count why would you spend a fortune when you have everything you need here. Thank you Fitness Connection for making me feel cared for and appreciated!

Joined this gym 2 weeks ago after living overseas for a few years and I can confidently say from the front door team, to the sales team, and even the cleaning team is absolutely amazing. They make you feel like your working at your home gym and I find myself spending more time here than I need to be because I chat with the team before and after my workout. Thank your fitness connection team loving the vibe and atmosphere

Be suspicious of places that sell contracts but don't let that be an excuse to avoid what you need to do - exercise. I am grateful for places like this and the opportunity it provides for us to take responsibility for our health. Look past the sales and see your health. The pool gets neglected from time to time, but thanks for providing it. Definitely my favorite piece of equipment in this facility. It is understandably a maintenance nightmare so it is a rare find in Reno - thank you.

The gym itself is very nice, clean and has alot of amenities. The staff is not so great. Over the phone, they weren't helpful or nice. In person, extremely pushy and if you don't go for the membership, they immediately become rude. The guy i dealt with got upset, handed me a pass, got on his phone and didn't say another word. I did try out the facility and it was awesome, however i will be going to a different gym mainly because i don't want to deal with rude staff. Very disappointing experience.

I loved the gym, wnt for several years. I noticed the yearly membership taken out of my account including a person that I no longer wished to be responsible for. I called and talked to management, got the run around, since it was a few days into the yearly membership they said they would not reimburse her portion, then told them to cancel mine and lose another customer, I asked for a call back never got one. Trying to shorten this up I had to finally cancell at B of A, FC kept calling and somehow they just managed to get a yearly membership of $89.80 by changing the name they billed it under. Called FC talked to them they were to call back that was yesterday, still no call. Be cautious, watch your $ with this company. Still fighting with them a year later.

Lots of equipment to use...love the pool! Locker room and showers are clean. The staff have been nothing but kind and helpful. I am very happy so far!!

Poor customer service. Have shut down pool for several months. Charged extra to cancel membership. Update after Fitness Connection response from Post on 5/21. Fitness Connection gave me a phone number to speak about my issues. For the record, before canceling I've spoken to facility directly multiple times about service issues and how to cancel. I then had four specific conversations with there corporate cancellation department. They still charged me an extra fee even after they said there wouldn't be an extra fee. All these activities took place three months before posting the initial post.

A great location to work out in. Good floor space, weight selection, pool. I wish they had more squat racks, and in this regard, the Sparks Fitness Connection is better. But dor 10 bucks/month, what you get at this club is still a great deal.

When I first posted the rating on this gym, I gave it 3 stars,,,,, However now it's just one. I didn't like the condition of the pool and their pushiness to sign a trainer. Now I have to say I will NEVER recommend this place! They never paid me back the money they overcharged me, ($160.00) and they are still posting multiple charges to my two credit cards to date. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!

The daycare hours SUCK and they aren't open on Sundays now. The staff is rude and apathetic. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD get friendly people at the desk. They are the first point of contact when you walk in the gym. THIS IS IMPORTANT.

update: I've seen new staff at the front desk in Reno and they are very friendly and welcoming. It is your weekend staff at the Sparks location that was rude to me. I don't go there anymore. Even if it is way closer....I'd rather drive and get the nice staff in Reno.

Purchased a Membership about five days ago With my wife. Got the executive lockers as well. For a total of $60 a month plus a $40 fee each and a fee each $250. For a total of $640 and I was psyched to be there. My first day there I came back to the private locker room that I paid for to find that all of my things including my wallet were placed on a bench removed from my locker. They had sold the locker to two people including me. The other person who had a key to that locker did not have the common sense or courtesy to inform a staff member that somebody else's things were in the locker. I went to the childcare area to pick up my son when I was done exercising and he looked like he was having fun in the play area so I sat down and told the person that I'd like to let him play a little longer. She said that when you're done working out That he has to leave. Not particularly friendly or courteous. The second day I came in I had noticed some cars that had had their windows and smashed out. I took a photo of the license plates. I went into drop off my son and I told the child care Manager and she told me to tell the front desk. Didn't care. Again not very friendly. I told the front desk and they said they knew already. I told him that multiple cars were broken into and that she should look at the license plate so that she can announce it over the loudspeaker and she wasn't too interested. Went to work out again came back to pick up my son went to go get him hurt a child asking one of the teachers to come play with him and she yelled from across the room that She didn't want to get up from her seat to come see what he was doing. Not very friendly and the children really.
When I was putting my boys shoes I asked the manager in the childcare area if she had heard of people breaking into cars like that in the area before and she ignored my question for a awkwardly long time before answering it. Like a minute or two. Came back to work out the next day to find that the glass in the parking lot from the smashed windows hasn't been cleaned up yet. Despite the staff acknowledging that they were well aware of that it was there. Dropped off my son went to Exercise for about 30 minutes before one of the childcare people came to get me claiming that my son was miss behaving. She said he hit two teachers and scratched one. So they kicked him and me out For the day. He's two years old and 20 pounds and he's never hit me or his mother. They couldn't show me the scratch either. A direct quote it didn't leave a mark. They said that the day prior he screamed a baby and that when they asked him to pick up his toys he ignored them. He hasn't figured out language yet. I've attached a current picture of him running around in his diaper.

I was thinking about singnin up whit my husband and my 2 boys but after reading this horrible reviews I DEFENETLY just change my mind. Nothing but bad customer service wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst employees ever!!! I went last month on the trial membership due to my in-laws always going there to work out. It was over crowded and felt like I had to hover over an equipment to use it. That is not why I gave this 1 star. After my trial finished I kept getting calls from them and it was during times of inconvenience. Last week I got a call and i told them i was working but they interrupted me and asked if i wanted to join. I said not at the moment and they hung up right away. Not even a chance to explain. I go to school and work full time and its hard to find time to go but fuck how the hell do they expect people to think of joining them after that shit. Never giving my money to them.

Great gym for the price. The lockers, sauna and pool area are all kept clean. Tattered cushions on the machines are replaced regularly, and they have great classes. They also have a location in Sparks.

I've been a member for over5 years, never had a problem until recently. The bank card number expired and I got a new one, forgot to update it at the gym. I brought this to management attention, and they said no problem bring a letter from your bank explaining the situation. They charged me $20 in fees when this happened, and said they would take care of it when I brought the letter in. It has been 3 weeks and still no refund, when the manager said it would be 2 days. At this point I'm going to cancel my membership, which I heard from former members, is that they make it as difficult as possible. Fitness connection needs to focus more on taking care of loyal customers, instead of trying to up sale them all the time. Very dissapointed.

Not happy with the fraudulent activity from this place. I canceled in Dec of 2016, and just today received an email stating that I was overdue, due to them not being able to charge my card. (My card had been canceled due to the number being compromised at another store a month ago) I called the number in the email to insist that they give a refund, only to be placed on hold several times - over 40 min call time, then be told that while they had notes regarding a cancelation request at the facility, they could not process a refund without a copy of the cancelation sheet, which of course I do not have. Make sure when you cancel you keep your copy!!! I asked for a supervisor, was told that they were already on a call and could give me a call, or I could hold. I opted to hold. 4 minutes later the rep came back, and stated that he was unable to transfer, but his supervisor would call me immediately. He disconnected, and I waited 5 minutes, still no call. Called back, was told that they had tried to call, but got no answer, which is ridiculous, as I was sitting here waiting for their call. Again, I was told due to a glitch they could not transfer. Supervisor finally called back. Was told that I would not be given any kind of refund, and in fact it would continue billing until I canceled again, or produced a cancellation form from December of 2016. ABSOLUTE FRAUD. I wouldn't have even known if my card hadn't been canceled for other reasons, and the representatives are no help at all. I hadn't used the account for a year prior to canceling, but kept paying it "just in case" I decided to go back, and now I have paid for almost an additional year because of their fraudulent practices. Do not trust this place. I have canceled it AGAIN, and I will never recommend it, or be getting a membership for myself or my family, which is too bad, because it was really nice that they had a pool for exercising. Not worth it, though, they will screw you over, too.

I told the staff my goals and they have been very helpful in giving me tips for both exercises and foods I should try to introduce to my diet. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend you try them and sign up for a personal trainer as well.

Big gym, great pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. Be aware that they have a $40 annual fee and a $90 start up fee. It's a very corporate gym with at least 8 desks behind the front desk area filled with salesmen ready to pounce and sign you up for hundred dollars in gym classes...
