Great coaching, awesome community and glad we found you all!! I've traveled extensively and been to 30+ crossfit gyms, this ranks among the best of the best. My daughters and I joined about 6 months ago and have absolutely zero desire to change gyms.This is now our new home away fro home here in Reno.
What would be great; would be more opportunities for youth specific classes to get more youngsters up and moving and to have more regular mobility specific classes.
I am visiting relatives over the first week of Jan and dropped in to the 11:00 AM class. Coaches were welcoming and great. Box is very clean, lots of space and great equipment. Next time I visit the area I will definitely stop in again.
Over the course of my crossfit career, I have been a member of four separate gyms (boxes, if your prefer crossfit lingo) as well as a guest a dozen or so more. Never in my time have I seen a gym so well equipped and so clean. The attention to detail is super impressive. The Coaching staff is very knowledgeable, very friendly and very approachable. My only word of caution is that if you attend this gym, you might be disappointed when you return to your home gym as your expectation will have been raised to what a crossfit gym should look like.
I am so incredibly impressed with this gym. The coaches are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I have walked through many crossfit gyms in the area, and this one blows them all out of the water without a doubt esp. when it comes to staff, cleanliness and the positive environment. So Happy I found Double Edge!!

I checked out the 11:00 AM class this morning at Midtown. Trent and Sabrina were great. Very welcoming, friendly and ran an awesome class. The box itself is incredible, tons of space and very clean. Besides having to do thrusters and burpees, it could not have been better. I look forward to dropping in again tomorrow.

My trainer in LA helped find this gym for me when I am in town for work. He wanted a gym that was similar to his style of training. Double Edge was just that. I dropped in for 2 classes on my most recent work trip and I enjoyed both. They were the right kind of tough, Kris was a great coach for Ladies Night too. I will be back when in town.

This facility is a one stop shop! I come here when I am in town visiting family. The staff and the members are always so welcoming. I love that you get a choice of a CrossFit or Lean workout. That way I can mix up my workouts without having to find another facility. The coaches are so knowledgeable, and make me feel safe and in control of my workout. The workouts kick my butt every time.

Whenever I am in town this is the place to work out. The facilities are well kept, spacious, and the coaches are great. This gym embodies what a crossfit community is all about, members are very welcoming. WOD's can be as tough as you make them. I love the option of doing the lean workouts along side the crossfit.
In Reno on vacation and wanted to try a Crossfit gym. This one was closest and most convenient to get to. Gym was easy to get to, lots of parking. The gym is exceptionally clean and has a lot of equipment. The members were nice and the coaches were welcoming seemed knowledgeable. They offered two different classes at a time, so member could choose which class they wanted to attend. A little pricey for a drop in (25$) but was worth it.

The facility is clean. The equipment is in good condition. And the coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. Coach Alvie was fun, interactive, and offered tips and encouragement at the right times. I thoroughly enjoyed my drop in experience and will be back whenever I am in town.
Excellent place! I dropped in for a class based on the appearance of the website, and I was not disappointed. Big facility with all the equipment you could ask for. In addition to the great facility, I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend Double Edge CrossFit.
We are in town for a few days and did a drop in this morning. I love that they have so many class times available. It made it so easy to fit a workout in around our vacation schedule ;-) I also liked the fact that you can buy a shirt in lieu of the drop in fee! Everyone was very friendly and Coach Leo was awesome. I really enjoyed the Crossfit Lean class. We will definitely be back next time we are in Reno!
As a first-timer I was intimidated by Crossfit but was amazed by the friendly instructors and the positive energy of the gym. Even other students were encouraging me. The owner was very helpful and gave me guidance on proper form and positioning. He modified the workout to help me get acquainted. Great facilities - they even serve free coffee!
I visited Double Edge South while visiting Reno, and was impressed by the neatness of the gym. Coaches and people were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. I also brought my sons with me, and they enjoyed playing with other kids. I'll be back next time I'm in town!
