This gym is awesome!
Brand new gym, brand new equipment. New ownership has taken place and it's now called Dragon's gym. This place has a decent variety of free weights, machines and even some cross fit style areas.
Great used to 24hrs which was great. Always a machine available. Not to crowed and they had trianers that specialized in everything
Fair price. Decent equipment. I just started her but so far it's nice.
Awesome place. Equipment is always clean and functional. Friendly staff. Even at peak hours, there's always equipment open. Showers is a plus.
The staff is very friendly and helpful doesn't mind taking time to show you how to use the machines. Clean and quite environment. Love working out here!
I love that this gym has a calming atmosphere with the equipment and space needed to truly work my body.
The Group fitness classes were supportive and felt like you were remembered, so I decided to join. Now I teach on "MogulMondays" ::
7pm STRONG- (High Intensity Tempo Training)
8pm Zumba- Cardio dance fitness

I rated these guys one star. Not two. The site keeps upgrading the rating. Not me. And that is shadyon the part of Google. Demeanor, meaning lack of professionalism, by management or sales staff is the issue. Indignant. Dismissive. When I asked for a business card twice from the person in question he blew me off and said, "I don't sweat it." Just real immature. Same goes for the class instructor. There was just the projection that he didn't want to be there. Otherwise, the front desk staff was friendly. Facility was clean. Equipment was nice. Other patrons were somewhat friendly. Most but not all. Location is odd because the gym is squeezed into a small commercial plaza. Almost couldn't find it. And they discontinued their free sign up. All the people I spoke with that signed up with Universal got their sign up fee waived. So I really don't see the value of doing business with Universal Fitness Club Las Vegas. Like they said, "Don't sweat it." Therefore, one should consider taking their business elsewhere based on the aforementioned evaluation. Sorry. But the criticism is well deserved in this instance.

I'm from southern CA and I was in Vegas for the week of EDC and I needed a good gym while I was there. For starters, there are no LA Fitness clubs in NV whatsoever. So, I literally called 7 different local gyms, and none would offer a guest pass for non-locals. I called this place up and by chance they were highly accomodating to my situation. They offered me a week pass for an insanely low price, and I just had to pay when I went in. Once I went in, boy was I pleasantly surprised! This place is on the smaller size, but it is clean, highly maintained, and is full of brand new equipment. I was greeted by a friendly front desk girl and even the gym manager himself came to greet me. I'd never felt so welcomed in a gym before. Some of the more impressive highlights were an outdoor weight equipment area, large and clean bathrooms w/steam room, and the awesome classic rock tunes they blast all day long. In a nutshell, if you're from the area, and you want an amazing gym, with a more than adequate amount of weight and cardio equipment, look no further than Universal. This place is worth every penny of it's unbelievely low, month to month, no contract cost. If I ever move to Vegas, this will be my new gym. 5 out of 5 without hesitation.
Awesome gym! Full sized gym with all equipment available pretty much any time of day. Full range of cardio machines and a spin cycle area. All types of free weights including dumb bells to chest presses to squats. Yes there's a squat machine and an area with safeties for free weight squats. Full range of static resistance machines and a circuit training area with more than 12 different machines to rotate through.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and they can do personal training. Currently the fee is $19.99 per month and NO CONTRACT REQUIRED! This gym is pretty much new, and there is no crowding whatsoever so far! Highly recommended.

Great gym , very knowledgeable staff . Very clean
Clean, great options on machines, variety of classes, would give 5 if it had a pool. (Posted shortly after their grand opening last year)
Update 2/2018
Unfortunately we had to cancel our membership only a few months after. We were over charged, or double charged more ofter than I care to remember. Now mind you, I understand they were brand new at the time and probably still trying to figure things out, I get it, and we were really patient throughout the ordeal. But when it comes to customer service, its all on how you handle a situation. I would never expect to immediately get something free in return for a mistake, but besides an apology and a promise that it will never happen again, most of all when you potentially cause a financial burden on a customer by almost depleting all available cash funds in their checking account, I do expect you to personally ensure that it DOES NOT happen again. Further more, that when as a customer I inform you this was extremely disappointing and this may force me to consider cancelling my mememrship, and you just say: "ok" as if you hear this type of feedback all the time and you dont care.....well folks, thats the reason we did follow through and canceled. Sad! ... not only was it close to us, had better equipment than the other gyms around us and a juice/smoothie bar but it was also a much better option for the same price than we are now paying at a different gym.
Equipment [ie. Sauna and some machines] break frequently.
Most of the staff is friendly. Isn't cleaned very well very dusty. Members are allowed to bring gym bags on the floor. And no real dress code either. I've seen employees were sandals on the workout floor as well as members. Not enough different styles of cardio equipment.
I love the staff. Clarrisa cycling class and Tony the trainer
Great place has everything you need, I came in to town for one night and needed a place to work out, Charles was a great guy and I was able to workout before catching my next flight. Great location near the airport and nice gym
Really well equipped gym with lovely staff and open 24/7! Really made an effort to go out of the way to accommodate us

The main reason I joined was because it's 24 hrs with a sauna. Sauna hasn't worked for a couple weeks but , Awesome staff. Great equipment.
