The facilities in themselves are fantastic. The extremely poor customer service and lack of professionalism is deplorable! DO NOT RISK IT!!!!!
Two months ago we moved to a new part of town, hence utilized a new location. Our 4 year old LOVES the playroom. At the new location they refused to allow him to play. He was crying and in tears as the "manager" in the playroom very loudly told us more then once "he can not play here, he MUST have all of his shots!". There were tons of other parents within ear shot and it was extremely embarrasing! Why after months of playing at another location is he now shunned? He absolutely is vaccinated except for a whooping cough vaccine...because he actually HAD whopping cough as an infant. I explained this and explained that his MD was involved. It was SO demeaning my Son and I BOTH left in tears.
Following that I called to cancel membership as they are no longer able to render services as promised. I was told it would bill one more cycle.
Now...In the month of December not only were we billed....but billed twice! With fees! On days that were not our scheduled days!
My Husband called yesterday and attempted to gain some clarification. He verbalizes he really didn't get anywhere, and was treated very poorly in the process. He is back in school, I am back in school as well pursing my Masters. Money is watched carefully and we need to budget wisely.
I contacted billing this morning for some clarification. I understand if we have a contract we are "stuck", but we had other questions. IF THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE MORE THEN ONE PAYMENT WITHIN A MONTH PLUS FEES ON JUST ANY HAPHAZARD DATE CAN THEY PLEASE GIVE HEADS UP WITH AN EMAIL OR TEXT OR PAYMENT REMINDER OF SOME KIND? IS THAT EVEN LEGAL?
I actually had to say "PLEASE STOP BEING MEAN TO ME" several times this morning during my conversation with the rep. NO JOKE. She then proceeded to tell me I was talking in circles and she was getting nowhere. She told me I needed to review my contract and that for me alone it would be over 400 dollars to cancel! She also said my 16 year old son, whom is obviously a minor, would have a huge fine too....as well as my Spouse! SO A NICE FAMILY WITH YOUNG CHILDREN ATTEMPTING TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL WILL BE SMACKED WITH MORE THEN $1,000 IN FINES TO CANCEL???!!!!!!! AND THEY CAN'T EVEN BE NICE ABOUT IT?
So if we are unable to cancel, we at least need to be able to have services provided as agreed upon (playroom). I have left a message with that "manager"....awaiting call back.
I am also still waiting for the email as promised with copies of our contracts.
Last time we lived in Las Vegas we were very happy with LVAC. Not sure why it has gone downhill so much? Anyhow, I would obviously not recommend this gym to anyone at this time. I think if they had treated me with a bit of empathy and human compassion I would feel differently. You can tell someone NICELY they are locked into a bogus contract without being so horrid. Now I just feel taken advantage of and angry.
