I have been enjoying this club since it opened in back in 1977. I watched it grow through the valley to date. I am still a member and have found the staff always helpful and if l ran into any problems they got resolved asap. I do miss the days of coming in and seeing Mike Tyson working out or jumping into a game of basketball with sometimes pro NBA players that were on the court. But still l find the club top notch. Sometimes it can be crowded but thats cool to see people staying in shape and present a energetic atmosphere . I am really happy to be a member of LVAC.

Great hangout. Good equipment, health bar, swimming pool, individual classes, Vitamin shop and US bank in the same complex. I joined the club to take advantage of all the discounts and freebies. Check it out!

I love this gym. It's always clean and the equipment is up to date and well maintained. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Great gym with a great atmosphere

Large but so so atmosphere. The locker room was freezing! The steam room was mildly warm. The equipment area was a good temperature though. Co-ed steam room. Huge locker room.

It's larger than the one I went on east flamingo, and it has more stuff, machines an more even a juice bar open 24hrs!!

I asked if they had a running track. Dude told me i can run outside. Idky he was a jerk but it was funny if you wasn't me. Not only did i go for a run outside i signed up at planet fitness right across the gym they dont have track either but they show respect and have great customer service.

Better than Fitness, 20 bucks per month depending on your membership years and what features you include with signing up. Daycare for parents and steam room/wet and dry sauna, jaccuzzi/Got tub, heated pools (lap pool and miscellaneous pool)... showers and 7 DIFFERENT locations for members to access (varies layouts and some bVe indoor running tracks, different sizes got tubs and saunas)

The facilities in themselves are fantastic. The extremely poor customer service and lack of professionalism is deplorable! DO NOT RISK IT!!!!!
Two months ago we moved to a new part of town, hence utilized a new location. Our 4 year old LOVES the playroom. At the new location they refused to allow him to play. He was crying and in tears as the "manager" in the playroom very loudly told us more then once "he can not play here, he MUST have all of his shots!". There were tons of other parents within ear shot and it was extremely embarrasing! Why after months of playing at another location is he now shunned? He absolutely is vaccinated except for a whooping cough vaccine...because he actually HAD whopping cough as an infant. I explained this and explained that his MD was involved. It was SO demeaning my Son and I BOTH left in tears.
Following that I called to cancel membership as they are no longer able to render services as promised. I was told it would bill one more cycle.
Now...In the month of December not only were we billed....but billed twice! With fees! On days that were not our scheduled days!
My Husband called yesterday and attempted to gain some clarification. He verbalizes he really didn't get anywhere, and was treated very poorly in the process. He is back in school, I am back in school as well pursing my Masters. Money is watched carefully and we need to budget wisely.
I contacted billing this morning for some clarification. I understand if we have a contract we are "stuck", but we had other questions. IF THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE MORE THEN ONE PAYMENT WITHIN A MONTH PLUS FEES ON JUST ANY HAPHAZARD DATE CAN THEY PLEASE GIVE HEADS UP WITH AN EMAIL OR TEXT OR PAYMENT REMINDER OF SOME KIND? IS THAT EVEN LEGAL?
I actually had to say "PLEASE STOP BEING MEAN TO ME" several times this morning during my conversation with the rep. NO JOKE. She then proceeded to tell me I was talking in circles and she was getting nowhere. She told me I needed to review my contract and that for me alone it would be over 400 dollars to cancel! She also said my 16 year old son, whom is obviously a minor, would have a huge fine too....as well as my Spouse! SO A NICE FAMILY WITH YOUNG CHILDREN ATTEMPTING TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL WILL BE SMACKED WITH MORE THEN $1,000 IN FINES TO CANCEL???!!!!!!! AND THEY CAN'T EVEN BE NICE ABOUT IT?
So if we are unable to cancel, we at least need to be able to have services provided as agreed upon (playroom). I have left a message with that "manager"....awaiting call back.
I am also still waiting for the email as promised with copies of our contracts.
Last time we lived in Las Vegas we were very happy with LVAC. Not sure why it has gone downhill so much? Anyhow, I would obviously not recommend this gym to anyone at this time. I think if they had treated me with a bit of empathy and human compassion I would feel differently. You can tell someone NICELY they are locked into a bogus contract without being so horrid. Now I just feel taken advantage of and angry.

Only has three stars because the actual gyms are quality. However, cancellation policy is complete garbage. I am still being billed after "cancelling" even though they are saying they never got anything from me and that I would "call them back".

I sent a lease agreement, but apparently that's not good enough. They are a complete rip off and I am now out $350 with no sign of them refunding me their overages.... in addition to that, they want another $50 for the cancellation fee now... because I confronted them about the continuous payments, even though I moved away.... Bogus.

Todd and his brother should be ashamed their company rips people off like this... it's 2017, get with the times with your cancellation.

If I ever move back... I will be sure and go to City Athletic Club.

Great gym, prior complaints are not valid,some customers should read information before they sign and agreement and not be mad because there still under contract and unable to cancel. Basicly pay ur bills on time less worries. I love this club... My customer experience is great....

I understand sales and bottom lines. Their rude staff only wants to increase their numbers. They couldn't care less about their clients health. Recently we have been introduced to other fitness options in the valley. Hopefully the management team at LVAC sees the competition as a way to better themselves.

Love the gym itself. Customer service terrible. I had been a member since 2016, and had payments drafting automatically. Payments apparently stopped and account was cancelled in August of last year. NO ONE contacted me or told me when they scanned my card at the front. It's June 2017. I called corporate and they had ALL of my account information wrong. Member said it was my fault and responsibility. And I can either pay 400 and once that's paid off I can use the gym again or cancel and pay 500.

What a rip off. Way to take care of your military members.

Love the club itself. HEAT class is the best class ever as is the CX core work. But I HATE the corporate policies. My niece who I paid for moved out of state and I couldn't cancel her account without a ridiculous $50 fee and proof of her moving out of state which she didn't have because she had just moved. So I held onto her account until I could finally cancel it. That still angers me even though I was finally able to cancel her account. Ugh. LVAC, you make so much money as it is. Some flexibility and understanding would be very much appreciated. If it were not for the corporate policies, I would have given a 5 star rating.
