I have been enjoying this club since it opened in back in 1977. I watched it grow through the valley to date. I am still a member and have found the staff always helpful and if l ran into any problems they got resolved asap. I do miss the days of coming in and seeing Mike Tyson working out or jumping into a game of basketball with sometimes pro NBA players that were on the court. But still l find the club top notch. Sometimes it can be crowded but thats cool to see people staying in shape and present a energetic atmosphere . I am really happy to be a member of LVAC.
Great hangout. Good equipment, health bar, swimming pool, individual classes, Vitamin shop and US bank in the same complex. I joined the club to take advantage of all the discounts and freebies. Check it out!
I love this gym. It's always clean and the equipment is up to date and well maintained. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Great gym with a great atmosphere
Large but so so atmosphere. The locker room was freezing! The steam room was mildly warm. The equipment area was a good temperature though. Co-ed steam room. Huge locker room.
It's larger than the one I went on east flamingo, and it has more stuff, machines an more even a juice bar open 24hrs!!
I would give it 0 stars if I could. We are a military family and when I went to the gym to sign up for a membership I specifically asked them about their cancellation policy because we knew we would be moving. We are not married so being a vet myself I knew my name would not be on any pcs orders. I said that specifically! Now that we've moved they are going back on the issue. Now I dont qualify. Now my change of address isn't enough to prove I've moved. I have to go change my driver's license (that is still valid) and spend even more money just to get out of this contract. Joining is easy, leaving is a pain, time consuming and a nightmare!
This gym could use some design updating, but oh well. Plenty of machines and weight equipment. Not my closest location, but I come to this gym for a specific class they offer.
Lvac is the best gym in Las Vegas.. They really care about there customers and employees and for everything they offer they have the best prices

The staff is awesome. The playroom staff is beyond incredible, they are so sweet and caring to my kids. Clean gym and available equipment. Has a US bank, tanning, juice bar, and the vitamin shop rocks.

Too many obnoxious people. Retards everywhere doing 10 sets on 2-3 machines at the same time.. but good variety of machines at least.

It gets an automatic one star because they still cant even put shower curtains on the showers.. This isnt the 80s anymore.. I find it abusive that i have to see naked old hairy men in the shower cleaning their disgusting butts everytime i need to go use the restroom... Furthermore the pool area has enough chlorine vapor to sanitize the pacific ocean! Stop the madness ! People need to breath oxygen not chlorine gas omg !
Been coming to this gym for years. Affordable, and has everything you need for get a good workout in.
I live on the west side I go to the one in 215 and flamingo but 2 or 3 times a week I go there (Sahara and Maryland) because no too many people at any time, Since 2 or 3 days ago the music went up so loud that you can't even focus , I am not very picky but this is too much I already spoken to the manager twice, but looks like they don't want fixed or they prefer no to have to many people at the gym ...I call this sabotage today is the last day I will assist this gym , I ll try the one at the sandhill and keep going to the west side , hopefully this wym at this location will fix this....oh I forgot super hot I report to the manager many times and they don't give a F***... , I Recommend to put some courtin or something to block the sun specially in the morning -noon .beside this complaints the staff are nice people and friendly
Better than Fitness, 20 bucks per month depending on your membership years and what features you include with signing up. Daycare for parents and steam room/wet and dry sauna, jaccuzzi/Got tub, heated pools (lap pool and miscellaneous pool)... showers and 7 DIFFERENT locations for members to access (varies layouts and some bVe indoor running tracks, different sizes got tubs and saunas)
Nasty place, and here's why:
1. The place stinks so bad day and night. Please use a good ventilation and use air freshener.
2. Staff, especially Tomori and Sal are not solution focused when it comes to customers' needs. They would rather argue with you and have you cancel your membership instead of giving solution and correct information.
3. LVAC breaks legal binding contract. My contract states LVAC would deduct fee of $22.00 per month for 24 months, guess what? 72 months later, LVAC is still deducting $22.00 without my permission!
4. Please train your management to avoid lawsuits and maintain a clean and sanitary club!
5. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership and will never ever come back nor suggest this gym, specifically this branch at Karen Ave, to anyone. I hope this place gets shut down!
The gym have better quality and equipment than 24 hours and planet fitness. More cardio machines than other places. And not too old. Only bad thing too many Hispanic people there.
The Best club in Las Vegas,I really enjoy this location because of size,Lots of different Cardio Equipments,Machines and weights.Clean locker and bathrooms.
Excellent facility. Plenty of ewyioment. Few times I've been there it's a bit messy.
I had the worst experience at this gym!!!
I just moved here from Las Vegas and I am looking for a new gym to go to. I heard good things about this gym and some friends recommended going to this gym.
So I decided to tag along with them to check it out.... I probably should have just stayed home.
I go inside and tell the lady in the front that this is my first time ever at this gym. She then tells the manager or trainer or employee and she takes me to the office (The person who took me to the office never introduced herself) . She goes over the membership information with me and then asks me what membership I want. I was hesitant to sign up for a 26 month agreement without even seeing the facilities or what this gym has to offer me, but I tell her I'll take the standard monthly membership. I give her my I.D and she tells me that I need a valid Nevada I.D, which I totally understand. I then ask her if there is a day pass that I can purchase and she tells me that it is gonna be $20.00 to workout for the day. I politely told her that I don't feel comfortable about paying $20.00 for a day pass and that I was gonna tell my friends that I won't be working out with them today because I dont have a Nevada I.D. and they wanted to charge me $20.00 for a day. She then said it was ok to tell them. I went to look for them and it took me awhile to find them. Once again this is a gym I have never been to in my life, so I didn't know my way around it. I found them after about 2 minutes, and told them what happened. I was waiting for one of my friends, the one with my keys in his bag. He was taking awhile and I was waiting for him. As im waiting, the manager, employee or trainer tells me that I cannot be walking around the gym without a wavier and that I have to leave. I tell her that I am getting my keys from my friend but she insisted that I leave. I agreed with her and decided to go outside and wait for my keys. On my way out she walks ahead of me and has some one follow me out, which was really awkward....
Unfortunately, I came to check out this gym to get a membership and left with a horrible experience. I probably wont go back to a Las Vegas Athletic Club gym....Ever.
Awesome gym. I've been to a lot of gyms traveling for work and vacation. This is my favorite so far. 24/7 is really cool as well. There are plenty of weights and a great selection of equipment. A gym like this is needed in Tampa Florida. Great job staff and management!
This is my favorite LVAC. It's not the newest, or the cleanest, or the fanciest. It doesn't have the newest equipment, it looks like you stepped back into the 80s when you are inside, and is one of the few without an indoor running track, but for some reason, I just love this location, and I've been to them all. Maybe it's because if you go everyday, you see the same people and feels comfortable. It could be that all the equipment is broken in just right and moves exactly as it should. Whatever it is, it is, to me, the best of the gyms here in Vegas.
Way too many members. Can't use free weights efficiently during peak times 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday. Nice clubs with lots of amenities and rates are reasonable. Just too damn crowded all the time.
Were I cum to get my sweat on. So clean and the boys and girls are yummy.
Like trump says, this place is "HUUGEEEE" very good gym. But I'm still fat tho so tf
