It was a gorgeous place to walk into. But the lady working at the front counter was so curt and generally unfriendly that my friend and I decided against booking there. Plus the 20% built in gratuity was a huge turn off.
This spa is so UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I cancelled my services 3 days in advance and then they called the day before to confirm one of them! Do NOT give them your credit card, I have never dealt with something like this from a LAS Vegas Spa. Then I called the night before and everyone claimed they had no access to the book and could not confirm it had been dealt with, and now I have to deal with this mess. Just do not give your credit card to the GRand Spa they have VERY UNProffesional people working there and now I have to wake up at 6am to deal with this nonsense. I will update this review once I see how this nuisance situation ends.
I had the worst spa experience of my life at the Grand Spa. We stayed at the MGM Signature because we had SpaFinder gift cards to use. When we checked in, our balance (including the mandatory 20% gratuity) came to $190. We had $200 in gift cards and were told when we were done with our services that the $10 balance would be returned to us. Instead, when we went to check out we were informed that the gift card could not be used in part and that the spa had taken the $10 for themselves. We said we were not ok with this and asked for our $10. The spa refused to return the money to us, then lied and said they put $50 back on the gift card and we allowed them to charge $40 to our Visa credit card. Before we left we asked for proof that the $50 was back on the gift card. The employee panicked and got the manger. The manager told us that there was no money on the gift card and no one had ever said that there was. So why did they charge our credit card? We got angry and rather then trying to solve the problem, the manager threatened to call security on us and stormed off. She left the employee to void the $40 they charged to our Visa. When we again asked for our $10 (where we started) she left exasperated, went back to the manger (who never came out again), opened a drawer and handed us $10. Why on earth was this not done in the first place? Why did they take our $10 rather than waiting to ask us what we would like? Why do they assume that it is ok to lie about putting money back on the gift card? All I do know is that this was the worst customer service that I have ever experienced and I would recommend staying far away from this spa.
We have stayed at MGM Grand for over 7 years and this is the first time I've used the gym. Actually a very well laid out gym with views on to the pool area, great selection of machines however every treadmill was mostly always taken. And they had about 10 of them. All machines in great working order, good selection of free weights as well with a good free weight section. Everything looked clean, water dispenser, towels.
Great facilities with a large treatment menu. The staff were amazing and facilities were 1st class. I had a hot stone massage that was amazing.

Wish someone was there to enforce the 'please don't clank your weights' rule. Gentleman behind us was grunting and clanking our whole work out. Overall very clean, towels available lots of machines to get you through a week away from your home gyms.
My swedish massage was amazing. Pricing isn't too outrageous considering the locale. the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. I felt very comfortable.

I have been to several spas and this was by far the worst experience I have paid over 400 dollars for. I was so sore and my back hurt so baf because the message therapist was so terrible. My facial was in no way relaxing, and after the lady pressure me to spend the extra 100 dollars for a skin peel, my skin is botched with extremely dry skin and sores. The Excalibur Spa is ten times better. MGM Spa doesn't even deserve 1 star to be honest.

The Service: FANTASTIC! Very professional and personal. Gave spa tour once check in.
The Amenities: Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna room, lounge area, shower, locker room, etc. Magazine, fresh fruits, snacks, coffee & tea are available. Lots of towels available everywhere in the spa.
They have all the hair products and everything you need in the shower room.
The staffs are constantly cleaning the common area. Very well maintained.
Instead of playing in the casino, I prefer to stay in the spa for hours... only cost me $25 all day!! Good deal~
i come here whenever i get a chance to, mainly to get away from smokey casino and to relax. the guys that work here always keep the place neat, clean and orderly.they recently remodeled steam room. mgm is one of my favorite spas in vegas. i also like the gym area upstairs. it is my healthy place in vegas.i feel so relaxed soon as i walk into lobby area.workers demand tips which i felt weren't deserved because all they do is talk about smoking weed and swat each other towels.ugh really?

They asked us so many questions about the booking time and told us so much about the cancellation policy and other nonsense. But when we would ask questions about different packages were treated as if we were incompetent. If I'm paying $300+ for my husband and I to have 60 minutes of spa time, I expect you to answer my questions in a pleasant manner. Also, be mindful of the final price. The prices advertised for the spa are no where near what you pay. In addition to the standard rate you pay another fee (which I believe was 20-30 percent on top of the rate). They also have a very strict cancellation policy which we weren't told until our appointment was already booked and were within the "no cancellation" window.

Cindy gave me a fabulous Lomi-Lomi massage. The ambiance was relaxing, the amenities were well thought out and the massage therapist was very attentive to my needs and preferences. I will be back!
We came for the pool and a contest winner was kind enough to walk us in since we were staying elsewhere and couldn't afford a cabana. Awesome lazy river style pool with several bars around. We spend a good portion of the day here. Inside is incredibly impressive with lots of fine and casual dining and some shopping. Didn't make it out onto the casino floor though.

Nice, clean gym located in the MGM spa, near the pool entrance. The gym overlooks the pool. This offers nice views and opportunity to people watch while working out! One stair master machine, many cardio and weight machines. Free towels and lockers are available at the gym. Access is free for hotel guests. I noticed that it was busier during early morning hours. I liked walking through the spa to the gym because there is a relaxing spa aroma.
I booked a couples massage. One room, two tables, two massages. I spent several minutes discussing couples massage when a booked the COUPLES MASSAGE. I Confirmed, before hanging up, that it was a COUPLES MASSAGE. When my husband and I checked into the spa...NO COUPLES MASSAGE. We were booked for a massage in separate rooms. I don't know what VIP we got bumped for, but it's not right. If I didn't want the COUPLES MASSAGE, I wouldn't have booked the COUPLES MASSAGE.
