I believe serving youth is serving the community.
This is one of the places I am confident my kid is in good hands, based on my own experience when I was a child. The best thing about the Boys and Girls Club isn't just that they provide great recreational activities and after-school programs, but their MISSION; to Empower Our Youth, their ability to individualized the need of each child, and implement their needs through staff by edification, support & activities.
I'm a proud Mother of a Member and a soon to be Member (when he's 5yrs old), of the Lied Memorial Boys and Girls Club. Staff are awesome. They have some Great Young Leaders there and the Manager/Director, is an Amazing, A . M. A . Z . I . N . G Mentor to the youth there; true passion (I've observed it).
I am confident that my kids will gain vastly because of this Amazing Establishment: Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada. Highly Recommended.

Maricely is very , very compassionate. Being homeless she helps us get food and shelter. Her reward is in heaven.

This place is great! Both my kids go before and after school, they walk them to and from school. They have so many classes and activities for the kids, they offer counseling even! I don't know where I would be without this place! And the staff is amazing and make sure the kids are well watched and let you know right away if your kids do something that you need to know about, they care enough to keep you in loop with everything. A lot of places aren't like that in my experience.

I gave this place a 2 star because they had no air conditioning during a basketball tournament where it was 112 degrees outside. This facility was not very clean and could use a very good scrub down. The basketball courts were dirty and the bathrooms are gross.

Excellent summer camp program! Great staff and coaches! My 6 year old son loves it after 1 week. Awesome price, includes quality breakfast and lunch. Weekly field trips for all ages and sleep away camp for the older kids.

I have gone to this boys and girls club for 4 years now and everything has been great except for the air conditioning isn't very controlled.The policy for parents staying by the door doesn't really work though which i think should be changed or at least a lil bit changed.I know the phones aren't answered much because the staff are taking care of the children or supervising.

Great place for working parents to have childcare they have lots of activities for kids open weekdays and grest for kids vacation...

I went here as a child and love it. My children go here and they say its like another home for them where they can be themselves. Love it

Great staff and management ..so glad my daughter has the opportunity to be a part of all their programs which are also very affordable with a wide range of activities and even surprise appearances by the LV knights and today Neyo stopped by to hand out gifts and chill with the kids!

Best safe place for my kids to go to while I'm working. Staff are always helpful and willing to work with families.

I needed a place for my son to go after school. I paid a member fee of $35 and $40 for the month. Well at least that is what they told me when they took my money. When I say they I am talking about the manager and the girl behind the desk. I was told CCSD would be providing transportation but they didn't have any of that information this is 6 days before school starts. So I took it upon myself to call transportation. I am told that my son can't get on the bus without a card from Boys and Girls club. So I call the Boys and Girls club and am told I can pick up the card up on Friday. When I show up on Friday I am told their are no cards. I am also told I only paid for two weeks. Again the manager is their and a different girl behind the counter. I asked him why am I getting different information after the fact of paying and it being 2 days from the start of school. The manager goes to hand me a financial application to get a cheaper price. I tell him it's not the price but the fact that I was lied to by him and the girl behind the counter the first time. I told him the fact that he is not evening apologizing for telling me one thing and now its another is ridiculous. However he did offer me a refund so I took it. I have to wait two weeks for a check to be mailed to me when I paid with a debit card.
When I first walked into this place children are running around and out of control. their seems to be no order just a place to drop your child off. The staff is ghetto! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter seems to love it....she's only been going for a week but the reason it gets 4 stars ..is that they are helpful to families and the open time in great with my work schedule.
