The yoga classes are solid, and the bootcamp and pilates classes are good workouts, although at times instructors sacrifice form & stability for speed. My problem with Evolution is this: if you sign up for classes, you are likely to get a good workout, but don't expect professionalism from many of the instructors. In fact, they can be downright abusive, shaming, and arrogant, and if you bring their behavior to the owner's attention, he will ignore you, because he is as rude as some of his instructors are. Clearly the unprofessional culture at this studio starts from the top down. What I witnessed at Evolution in just a few weeks' time: a male instructor starting his class by ordering a woman to shut up, then repeatedly picking on her and humiliating her in front of all of the rest of us throughout the class. Then, a female pilates instructor who shamed her students, repeatedly, for things like stopping to take a drink of water in a very hot class. She even threatened to start a song over again because some students couldn't perform a move as well as she can. These instructors are verbally abusing and shaming their students, whether they realize it or not. The arrogance and hostility these same teachers, and the owner, exhibited when confronted about the behavior is totally unacceptable. These people should be trying their best to uplift students, not put them down. You may get fit at Evolution, but don't expect them to practice the L.O.V.E. that they preach.
