My son does not like pool water. It is too yellow each time he has swim classes
Amazing staff & great swimming lessons!
Great community gym. There is a pool, and a small weight/cardio area. Hours can be a little confusing so just make sure to keep an eye on the schedule! This is not like some other larger facilities in that most of the staff and members all know each other. If you are looking for a great community/small town feel this is the place for you! The facility is under new management so there are some changes taken place, most have seemed to be for the good!
My granddaughter takes swimming lessons. I highly recommend kids take lessons here! Staff very friendly and extremely patient!!
I would not recommend swim lessons for your kiddos from this facility. On the first day of lessons, my daughter slipped off the platform and struggled in the water for a solid 10 seconds. Her instructors had their backs to her, the lifeguard on duty did not notice, and the pool manager was leisurely floating on a noodle in the middle of the pool and did not notice either. My other daughter was in the same class and was screaming at the instructors that she needed help. This was my worst nightmare. In addition to this, the parents are required to sit in an observation area, so short of pounding on the glass, their was nothing I could do to help my daughter. After this incident, not a single person evaluated her to see if she had swallowed water or should continue with lessons. I had to go to the lifeguard and have her pulled from class and evaluate her myself. The instructors have zero contact with parents unless initiated by the parent. On one occasion during lessons the instructors were trying to teach the breast stroke but refused to get their hair wet to demonstrate proper technique. During our lessons I've also seen the lifeguard distracted by her cell phone. Needless to say I expected so much more from these swim lessons. I will not be returning and would never recommend lessons here to anyone.

Update 9/9/2018:
The nit wit life guards almost killed another little girl today, apparently the life guards were "changing shifts" aka, distracted by their phones or simply plagued by a severe deficit of attention. What a shoddy operation. Take your kids here at your own risk!
I work with Trinity Lutheran Summer Camp. We have taken the kids here for years but this summer has been horrible. They let one of our 3 year old fall off the diving board NEVER called his parents and NEVER apologized for the accident. The older lady in charge is so rude and when I am in charge of 16 to 18 kids every session it would be nice if you helped me find what class they are in instead of screaming at me to get out of the pool area. Also the teachers DON'T communicate with you what is going on in the class when they are done they just drop them off in the locker room and hope for the best...so unprofessional!!! I have had multiple kids dropped off to me crying and I would have no idea why...I am beyond frustrated with the lack of communicate. I hoped they weren't hurt or fell I would have no idea because I am not allowed in the pool area and the windows are so dirty I cant see a thing. Trinity will be finding a new place to do swim lessons next summer!

Has a hot tub and a pool, work out room etc. What you'd expect from a lifestyle center
Love the pool! Looking into a membership.

I love Larson. It's an attached lifestyle center to the Union college campus but provides activities to both students and people of all ages that are not affiliated with the school. It has a nice gym inside of it but the highlight is the swimming pool which alot of people love. It also has very good hours. As a student, I like it alot.

I DO NOT recommend swim lessons here. My toddler had his first swim lesson last night. The woman in charge was rude and none of the employees that I spoke with seemed to know how to deal with a scared child. My son clearly did not feel comfortable. My child walked out of the pool area, through the locker room, down two hallways looking for me. Another mom let the group of parents know that there was a little boy walking around & described what he was wearing. That's how I found out he wasn't with his swim instructor. When I took him back to the pool area & advised the woman in charge that he had walked out & no one noticed her response was, we noticed but there was a lady standing next to him & I assumed she was his mom, she walked out behind him. Not only did they not verify that my child was with a parent when he left the pool area, they tried to excuse their behavior, and refused to refund me for the lessons that we are not taking.

My wife did the above review, had I written it, I would have tried to employ some humor, but according to her, nothing about this place is funny. I doubt that.

Easy to sign kids up for swimming lessons. Teachers are great and very attentive. Glad we found them. They have a cheap deal on their memberships and it makes swimming lessons cheaper. Plus we get to work out whenever and use the pool when it is open. Very good options for members.
We're always greeted with friendly smiles when we come in. My kids absolutely LOVE swimming lessons here. They ask to go every day. All year long. About to make their dreams come true and sign them up for another session.
Great swimming lesson program for young kids. It's also very affordable compared to other options in the area. My son loves going!
