At first I read the mix of reviews here before coming to the gym, and I really don't know whether the owner fakes the positive reviews here, because I experienced a little bit of each negative review on here. To be frank, this isn't a good gym if you are a Christian or just a decent human being. I brought my kids here several weeks ago and the men waiting for their men's class were discussing inappropriate things about women and storytelling about how they experimented with drugs in their youth. If you want your six-year old to come back crying to you and ask you "what is meth?", then I recommend against coming to this place. Planet Fitness and Plaza Fitness have better kids programs at half the price and the staff there is wary about not discussing things in front of children. I didn't appreciate what happened and tried to complain to the management, but they waved me off and said "this is a fighter's gym". Well if being a fighter means disrespecting women and doing drugs then I would rather have my children be pacifists and praise the good Lord every day than ever step foot into a place like this. Definitely wanted to get this out there for other mothers and parents to know this before coming.

Greatest teacher I've ever had for anything. He has a nice structured way of teaching that just works, and a great environment where other students help and encourage each other.
EDIT: I"m going to add to this, I'm still attending this academy and I'm still more then happy with the service I'm getting. I've never gotten any disrespect from any of the teachers, or my fellow students. I've felt better physically and psychologically coming here then doing anything else. Worth every dime I've spent.
I came to Andre's Academy for fitness in the beginning, and in the end, got so much more. The respect, discipline, and training are extremely admirable and motivating, and I have developed a love and passion for the martial arts though this academy. Not only have I achieved superior fitness, I am now continuing to excel in the techniques of Muay Thai and self-defense. Not only have I found body-confidence, I am continuing to strengthen myself physically and mentally. As a teen, this has been extremely important for me and I am grateful and honored to be a part of this academy. Jermaine Andre's training is impeccable, and all the instructors are great, encouraging, and dedicated to what they do. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who's looking to get fit, learn martial arts, or just better themselves.
We found Andres Academy when my 5 year old daughter expressed interest in martial arts. Little did we know, 4 months later, everyone in our family would be participating.
Jermaine Andre himself is an inspiring leader that has a true love and mastery of the Martial Arts. Ms. Rebekah leads the youth with passion and knowledge and lots of patience. The Diva Fit Program that I participate in is full of supportive, strong, and fun women.
My family is at Andres Academy 4 days a week, they have become a new family to us. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a new gym home.
Worst gym in the area period. Don't come here unless you want to be scammed and overcharged and then the careless owners never respond to your phone calls or give your money back. Training here isn't the greatest either, you get zero personal attention and matts and equipment are dirty and rusty from age

I am an Instructor at Andres Academy. I have been here for over 10 years now. If you are looking for a Friendly, Family enviroment but still looking for that Intense training. This is the place for you. We offer Fitness, Muay Thai, Strength & Endurance & Competition training. We just went to Iowa in June to compete in a National Muay Thai Classic Tournament. We came home with 4 World Champions. 2 youth. 2 adults. Champions Building Champions!
