We Love this Y. Its family friendly, we love the kids night out, instructors are awesome. The best swimming pool in the metro area.
I love their teen nights! My children have a safe environment to hang out with friends once a month during summer.
I love the set in the exercise room there is no waiting for equipment even when there are large groups in the facility you still have your space to get in a great workout.
Not much of a complainer, but there are better and cleaner showers at prisons. This is unacceptable and should be improved asap. The gym itself is fine, but whats the point when the locker and shower rooms are disgusting. The staff are super friendly. Facility needs major improvement.
Love this place, it may not be the one with the coolest pool or anything but i love thier machines and how they are set up. Plus once your hooked up with one you can go to them all.

Love love love this YMCA. The pool is great for swimming with your kids or doing laps. The facility has three floors that includes fitness studios for classes, and small weight room attached to a basketball court, and natatorium. The kid's zone and it's caretakers are a favorite in my household.

I love the ease, convenience, cleanliness of all the facilities. I love the programs offered, the indoor pool, the exercise equipment (more machines have been added). Beautiful and clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Great family friendly environment.

The Linwood Y always makes me feel welcome. The facilities offer me what I need to complete my workouts and are clean and well kept. When I didn't show up during a busy month I received a phone call and a card in the mail encouraging me to keep coming. It has been my favorite Y in KC and I'm glad I started to use the gym again.

Nice pool, retractable roof, excellent work out area. Clean facilities that are suitable for the whole family. Changing rooms are the smallest of any YMCA, but it usually poses no issue. Classrooms fully equipped for a variety of workout classes.

All Linwood Y staff that I've encountered are friendly, positive and concerned for my children's development, especially in the areas of teamwork and sportsmanship. Provide good support for parents.
I really love my membership at the YMCA on Linwood Blvd KC MO because I have fun with the other members and staff.also I workout everyday Mon-fridays and I like to stay healthy and eat right.
Always stayed in the area. Glad that not only did they remodel the gym but kept the same kind staff and overall a great facility to exercise get the kids out the house or simply have a lil fun on the basketball court
This is a very nice place the staff there is very friendly and very helpful I really enjoyed my time there

Beautiful new renovation! The layout is initially a bit confusing, but the employees are friendly and helpful. Workout area is small but clean, well equipped, and never busy at the time of day that I visit. The new indoor pool is GORGEOUS!
The Child Watch area is spacious and clean, with lots of age appropriate toys. My youngest takes a little time to warm up, but the staff always works hard to make her feel welcome.
I'm also thrilled that this facility is partnering with University Healthcare to help bring comprehensive and affordable healthcare to the community. Looking forward to seeing the new clinic open in February!

Lots of great news with this YMCA! They are getting a face lift, and teaming up with Truman Hospital. I think that's wonderful. Now I am sure the affiliation with the medical center will be helpful to the community teaching prevention helping with and rehabilitation.
Full gym, class rooms and studios for Yoga & Zumba. Full kitchen for nutrition and cooking classes.
Let's remember the " Pool", it's beautiful.

I'm a new member here. The facility is nice. Wish there was direct access to the pool from the locker room without having to go through the lobby. (I'll ask next time to be sure!) There are a variety of fitness classes available. Looking forward to jumping right in!
