Great gym, great coaches, great community. These workouts will push you with coaches that work with you to achieve your goals and show you the correct ways to do things. Engaging classes that always make me feel accomplished. Also, tons of space, good equipment, and great atmosphere
Brave Enough is very welcoming. They work with you one on one to help you fully understand techniques and movements before you participate in group sessions. I really appreciated this, especially as an athlete, because, by breaking down the technique and science behind the movements, it helps prevent potential injuries. Overall, Brave Enough is an amazing place where coaches push you to achieve your goals. There is endless support and encouragement in the gym. Personally, it was hard to find a gym/workout environment that met all of my requirements. I am fortunate enough to have found what I wanted and more at Brave Enough:)
By far one of the best experiences I've had. The gym has plenty of room and equipment, that you never feel like you're being crowded. The coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. The workouts were great, programming is challenging when it needs to be and relaxed when the time comes. I was able to participate in a competition and had the pleasure of watching other athletes compete, they cheer by your side, it's like a family within the gym. Definitely recommend the location and hope to be back and visit.
Having spent time at Brave Enough CF as both a traveling visitor (initially) and a full member for over a year, I can highly recommend Brave Enough CF to both types of patron. Anthony and his team of coaches provide a best-in-class level environment for training. Beginners and seasoned athletes alike thrive in their system. Anthony's professional, yet lighthearted approach and passionate energy do not go unnoticed. Best of all, my time spent at Brave Enough is always enjoyable.
Where do I even begin? The coaches and community are so welcoming. They really become your family. The support and personal relationships you build are amazing. The coaches are VERY knowledgeable and actually coach you. Unlike places I've been before. They know what you need so leave your ego at home. I highly recommend Brave Enough if you want to get healthy and strong. Not to mention the friendships.
In January this year I decided to make a switch from the solo 24hr fitness life of 10 years to the community fitness life that BE Crossfit offers. Best decision. In the short time I have been at BE I have made more genuine connections with the coaches and members than I ever did in the 10 years of weightlifting at commercials gyms (24hr/Genesis/Planet Fitness) I have been with numerous trainers and programs in the past and this is the first time I have experienced this much support from coaches and fellow members. Being here is more than just getting in shape, it's a lifestyle and a community. The workouts are not scary and they scale to your ability and strength. If you want a team to support your goals mentally and physically, I can't recommend this enough.
The coaches know their stuff. All are very committed to proper form and instruction. Highly recommended!
Dropped in for a quick lift session this past weekend and this place had an awesome setup with all the space and equipment you could want or need, including a reverse hyper machine! The owner was really nice and hospitable, and he's a New Zealand All Blacks (rugby) fan. This is where I'll be stopping to lift and workout whenever i'm in KC!

I have found this place very welcoming and have had an extremely positive experience every time I show up. The coaches have all been competent and attentive, as well as fun and cheerful. I can't say enough good things! The facility is WONDERFUL with all the space and equipment I could ever dream of.

Great place for a workout but pricy.

From the top notch staff to the welcoming clientele this place is amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and non judgemental. I've never felt so much like part of the team. If you are new to crossfit this is the place to be.
It's definitely not the cheapest place to train in KC, but it's the creme dela creme of KC..
I dropped in and had a great conversation with Anthony. The environment was very casual. It's the largest CF facility I've ever seen. They have it all, and lots of it. Anthony invited me to attend a couple of classes. Although I've been training CF for nearly a year, I took in and implemented some great technique tips. I'm not currently a member, but I look forward to being a member as soon as possible.
PROS:
Open GYM Daily (this is almost unheard of in the CF world)
Coaches that have competed in Regional and National Competetions
10+ showers (this is important at 7am..)
Really great, laid back people that are very encouraging (best part)
Fringe benefit of occasional rock climbing day
Couches, Refrigerator
Bumper Plates (too heavy? drop the load!)
NKC location is 5-10 minutes from downtown
CONS:
$$$- It's pricey. ***
***This is both a PRO and a CON. I spoke to Anthony at length on the subject. He doesn't do Groupons for a reason: He wants committed athletes, not people who are bouncing from one month promotions to another. This is very much reflected in the community. Everyone there was there for a purpose. When you pay top $ for training, you'll end up training with other athletes who value their training very much as well.
I'll post some pics of this incredible facility next time I'm able to drop in.
Amazing facility -- by far the most impressive I've seen in KC. Anthony (the owner) was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. First visit is free because if you're into Crossfit, you won't stop thinking about this place! I'll be back!
The workouts are amazing and constantly make you better all around! The community is the best part! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, everyone just wants to be a part of the big Brave Enough Family!
Anthony and team have built an amazing community housed in a world class facility. If you're serious about becoming a better person and living a better story, Brave Enough will guide you along the way.
