I just joined zone 6 about a month ago and have really enjoyed my experience. The staff is really friendly and they do a great job of catering to all types of individuals.
I was only attending here since May 2019 and i must say that it's the real deal. The staff members and trainers are excellent and really care about your fitness goals. The smoothie bar is really good as they have a wide variety selection. Unfortunately i had to cancel my memebership, but it was a smooth sailing! Phil was even nice enough to waive my fee. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
Great gym with a good variety of equipment. Many places to bench, Squat Deadlift, as well as a weight belt i use frequently. Only con would be not 24 hours.
Great gym! Took off two stars because of the cross training area being closed off to people that aren't buying personal training sessions. Even if it was restricted to certain times that would be cool. There's a lot of stuff in that section of the gym that I would like to do.
I highly recommend Zone 6. The gym is very large, extremely clean, and has plenty of equipment. I never felt like I had to wait on on any machines, even during peak hours and always felt very welcomed by friendly staff. I liked how close to downtown this place is. My only complaint is I've had a bit of trouble cancelling membership on my account.
Edit: The owner was quick to respond and fix this issue. Make sure to check this place out!
Very nice facility! Clean, spread out, enough equipment to go around. I love that they offer classes like yoga and a biking class! Friendly staff and delicious tasting shakes.

If you've been looking for a new gym.....look no further. Zone 6 is the BEST! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help members. Top of the line equipment, Les Mills classes and so much more. The Group class instructors are absolutely amazing! Cleanest gym ever! Stop by for a visit.

I went to check it out and it's a very clean and amazing gym. I ended up joining the gym. It's a little pricey and the daycare isn't included in the membership price BUT when you see it its worth it
Recommended.. Clean bathrooms and real toilet tissue. Great cardio selection. Separate personal training area! Nice bar, pleasant staff. Loses a star for no towel service, no kleenex, and the turf is a rug. The sled sinks and creates unhealthy drag when loaded with 450lbs.
Get's it back because Sirish Bhavnani is cool AF and they have the best leg press I've ever used.
I did the 21 day challage here and it was amazing, the facility is just beautiful and clean, everyone is super nice. I loved the group classes, especially the juvo board with Heather. All the instructors are very good and the personal trainers are amazing on getting you motivated to do your best. It really is a great gym overall.
Great equipment, always clean, and the best staff and culture. We relocated so no longer attending Zone6, but if ever back in north KC you can bet we will reinstate our membership.
Within 5 minutes I knew I was going to become a member. The facilities are spotless, the equipment is state of the art, and beautiful and there are plenty of free weights. I love the separated I'll call it "beast room" that allows one to be among like minded lifters that want a more hardcore experience. The staff is friendly and try and know your name, which is a big plus in my book. I think the icing on the cake was one of the co owners walking me through the facility as well as signing me up. I like to support people, and I can definitely say my money is going to good people. Yeah they don't list the price online- it's the show-me-state after all and they have a lot to show, I highly encourage anyone wanting to make a change in their life to visit.

Just started going here and haven't used many of the machines but everything is super clean and still looks brand new. Left previous gym due to cleanliness issues and was super impressed with what I've seen so far at zone 6.

Hidden gym gem. Cleanest, friendliest gym with fun and unique equipment designed to achieve goals. Plus, an amazing smoothie bar!

This gym is unlike any that I have ever been to and I'm so proud to call this my place of work. Its really like having a 2nd family. The atmosphere is off the chain!!

I've lived in KC for about 5 years now , Zone 6 is my 3rd gym , the other 2 were sub par to say the least. This is my home now. I'm a veteran at lifting weights but felt that I needed to change my routine. After watching how well the trainers at Zone 6 engage with the members , I decided to give it a try. I have trained with Ashley for over 8 weeks now and have seen such positive changes . She has taken me out of my comfort zone and has me doing things I never thought I could do. Her friendly personality and the way she pushes me has me sold on personal training. Even if you think you know it all you don't. I strongly encourage anyone contemplating a new place to workout to come to Zone6. You won't be disappointed, I promise!
Zone 6 Fitness was listed on my employers website as offering a discount to us. The location is convenient for my wife and I so I decided to check it out. The manager I spoke to initially and the person that gave me the majority of the tour were very nice and I enjoyed talking to them. The facility itself is very nice, clean and offers a good variety of equipment. Unfortunately things took a dramatic turn for the worse when another person came up to us towards the end of tour and explained that if I wanted access to their better equipment and better trainers, I would need to pay X amount of dollars extra per month. Well, that X amount of dollars was over 7X more expensive than the original quoted rate! While I certainly believe that they can charge whatever they want, to me this felt like a bait and switch.
I am pretty much the antithesis of a gym rat and used to say I hated everything about gyms. Then I found out about the Zone 6 21-day challenge. I drug a longtime friend with me to sign up for the challenge. After working with the staff and trainers, I found myself down 2.5% on my body fat percentage. I decided to go ahead and join the gym and have been working out regularly since. The staff greets everyone (usually by name) when they come through the doors, the trainers are all fantastic, the classes offered are energizing and engaging, and the environment is fun, clean, and well-kept. If there's any downside, it's that the personal training can be expensive, but I think it's in line with industry norms for our area. That being said, Zone 6 offers several tiers of training to hit more budget-friendly price points.
Zone 6 is by far the most favorite gym facility I have ever been too. I have been training here with Ashley since April. She does an amazing job of holding me accountable and changing up my routine from week to week. Everyone at the gym is super friendly and the staff does a good gob of keeping the gym and locker rooms clean. Hint. The chocolate frosty shake is amazing.
This gym is amazing! I jumped around a few gyms all over the Kansas City area and this is my absolute favorite and it has everything you could ever need! Ashley is the personal trainer I have been using and she is seriously amazing. She's the only one I know that can make a tough 45 minute workout fun and worth while!
