Sunshine yoga is one of my favorite yoga studios with two of my favorite teachers. Nancy and Kelli make it clear they care more about your progress then making the class harder and harder. They pay attention to your alignment and safety. Plus, the studio is warm and cosy. I would recommend Sunshine yoga to all new and experienced students. It is a friendly little studio in the heart of Kansas City.

I recently visited Sunshine yoga for the first time this past week. I have dabbled with yoga for the past few years and would not consider myself an avid yogi (is that the term?). However, I love how I feel during and after a yoga session. I am always skeptical in trying out new yoga studios. What will the teacher be like? What will the other students be like? Will I fit in? You know, the questions we typically ask that stress us out even more. Once I arrived at the studio I felt very comfortable. Kelli was welcoming and the studio was great. The ceiling was vaulted and the decor calming. The class size on Tuesday night was small (10 or so) which seemed like the perfect size. Though, there was plenty of room for others if needed. Kelli was a great teacher, she corrected poses as needed, had a very calming voice and it was evident that she was a great yoga instructor. I'm looking forward to going again next week and for the coming months.

I try to regularly attend Kelli's Vinyasa Flow classes on Tuesday & Thursday nights. From the first time I attended I couldn't wait to come back. First of all, the people and atmosphere make you feel completely relaxed and comfortable as soon as you walk in the door (something that can be difficult when you are new to anywhere). Second, I have attended a few classes at other yoga studios, but have never found a teacher who is so concerned with the well being of her students and who wants to help each and every person do what is right for them. Her classes are fun, relaxing, different, and challenging all at the same time. I would recommend Sunshine Yoga to anyone who is interested- new or experienced.

I participate in Kelli's Vinyasa class every Tuesday night. A great week is when my schedule is free and I can attend the Thursday night class as well. I drive home healthier in both mind and body and find myself humming when I walk into the house after class. Kelli is a thoughtful and knowledgeable teacher. Her yoga classes strengthen my body, keep me flexible for other physical activities and improves my balance.

My first yoga experience 3y ago was an anusara studio in Michigan. I love the joyfulness of this style and the deep exploration of the asanas. I was ecstatic upon moving to Kansas City to find a studio with this style of practice. Having attended for about a month now, I am even more ecstatic to have found this studio. The classes are at convenient times, the studio is relaxing and comforting. It is a little more narrow which can make it tight on busy nights. There are ample well-maintained props.

Nancy is everything I want in a yoga instructor - personable, knowledgeable, challenging, approachable, and fun. She gives each student personal attention and works with the unique quirks in your body. The prices are reasonable and for my busy schedule, I like not having to commit to being at the same class week after week.

I will make one criticism - the other students are not as friendly as some other studios I have been to. But I'm not going anywhere, so hopefully over time they will warm up.

This was my first exposure to yoga with Nancy's ansura classes. Nancy is wonderful, caring, great sense of humor, warm, friendly -- perfect. I highly recommend her classes and this studio. I am a Friday/Saturday morning student.

This studio is nestled inside a quaint neighborhood of the Crossroads art district in KCMO. The name "Sunshine Yoga" is exemplary of the feeling and treatment you will receive the moment you walk into the doors. It is a true place of healing, relaxation and peace.
