I visited KC fitness link mid summer to help with some lower back pain and general stress management. I had only received a couple massages before scheduling this appointment and Darryl was very good about being flexible to tailor the massage to my needs. Before you show up, Darryl has you fill out a massage intake form that let's you further tailor the massage to your needs. The space was very inviting and comfortable, and the music was relaxing. Darryl was very friendly upon our first meeting, we discussed where my pain was how it occurred and also other tense areas for him to work on. Being new to massage, Darryl used the perfect amount of pressure and was always receptive to feedback. After my first massage I was instantly hooked, I began weekly 1 hour massage sessions and can say it was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. The night of my first massage I had dinner with my girlfriend who told me she hadn't seen me so relaxed and care-free in such a long time. Darryl taught me some important lessons through massage, especially the limitations of my flexibility. Darryl taught me some stretches which helped clear my back pain up more than anything else and was always kind enough to give me workout and diet advice at the conclusion of the massage. I spent the summer studying for the MCAT so I was unable to participate in any Yoga classes or take any personal training but if I had more time I would have considered Darryl my only choice. Do yourself a favor and go see Darryl now, be it Yoga, personal training, a massage, or anything else he offers. You owe it to yourself to see someone experienced and competent, I know when I am back in town one of the first things I'll do is book another massage with Darryl.
