PF can be a bit lackluster when it comes to free weight selection. The little they have is often super crowded. That said, the KC area has super expensive gyms, and incredibly run down gyms. PF might not have the selection, but it's a good price and well kept in a market that lacks the perfect all around gym. This location in particular is probably the best PF in the area when it comes to size.

I was a member of this location since it opened. I had no idea that I had two memberships for over 3 years! Both accounts attached to my phone number with two different cards. I had issues where they had to pull up my account by my phone number and was not told about the two accounts. I did not think it would be a problem for the company to correct the error! They gave me a refund of 6 months and the annual fees! I was being duplicate charged for over three years. I thought this was a reputable company who would have made this right. They did not! I spent over 3 hours on the phone with the gyms manager and corporate and i would have never thought that A gym that I was a member of since they opened would not correct an error! Make sure to check your account because I had no idea that it was going on!

Can be a bit busy, try the 30 minute circuit in the back. Run through each station twice with a bit of effort and you'll end up with a great workout. Some things could stand better upkeep, but good value and staff always friendly.

I like the Planet Fitness equipment. Restrooms are nice and clean. The employees are nice and helpful. I have a workout plan from a trainer for six weeks, we will reevaluate from there.
There is a new station to work as a group with a trainer at specific times. When I'm physically ready I want to try. It looks interesting and fun.
Also new, is the total body enhancer. If you are a black card member give it a try. I'm on my third week rejoining and this is great for my winter blues and muscles!
Last but not least, the hydromassage bed/chair. It feels like warm rolling waves of water up and down your back side. You can control the speed, pressure and hold to a certain area. This is my immediate reward for working out.
I love Planet Fitness!

This is the first time I have joined a gym. So far a great experience. The trainer is very helpful in helping me figure out what is best for my needs. I am handicap in my back and he is very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Always clean, when I am there at night I see the treadmills pulled up and cleaned under and all the floors mopped. Staff is friendly and equipment is always in good working condition.

I love everything about planet fitness. I came 5 days out of the week for at least an hour and lost 50 pounds. Only down side to planet fitness is they get you to sign a 1 year contract then forget to mention they will start to charge you $40 a month once your 1 year contract is up. Staff could be a bit friendlier.

Not a bad location for basic work outs. I haven't had any problems w/ the staff; however, they're not very knowledgable in regards to what kind of equipment they even have, but that's alright (for me, not a huge deal). Probably won't continue after my year is up, I miss barbell deadlifts and squats. Other than that, it's a clean facility.

Have been going here for a year staff has gone down hill got yelled at for pretty much wanting a lay down bed. When I said I would wait for one to open up the teenager rolled his eyes and continued to talk to the other people behind counter. Who were also not helping anyone. Beds were not in use just needed to be cleaned. Used to love this place. Kinda sad.

This planet fitness has plenty of machines. Everything is kept very clean. Your biggest concern will be others wiping the machines. The staff is ultra friendly and supportive. They are always willing to lend a hand or answer a question.

If you work out from 430-730 you will hate this place. Packed. Basically the worst parts of the bible. Other than that it's nice.

Nice clean place to workout. Like the combination day lockers that you can program without bring a lock. Would recommend they tighten and lube the equipment. I even found one with missing bolts. Missing an indoor walking path, a rowing machine, trash can or soap in the showers area.

Very dissatisfied. I've been working out at Planet Fitness for a year now. I office next to this location and was treated rudely today. I'm a business woman and have always folded my work clothes and placed next to the treadmill I use so my clothes don't get wrinkled. In the middle of my work out I was told I had to place my clothes in a locker or carry out to my car. I explained I've always done this, my stuff is in no one's way and no other locations have ever had a problem. Actually the manager smiled and found it funny. Ruined my work out over something ridiculous. It shouldn't be a problem that I don't want my stuff wrinkled and stuffed in a stinky locker. Management is rude go somewhere else.

This is my favorite Planet location!! Everything is always cleaned and in good condition. The locker room is huge. The staff are always laid back and friendly, and good looking. The gym itself is pretty big as well and has everything organized in an amazing way. Its also in a nice part of town.

Nice place to work out. But 2 things: 1) bottles of water shouldn't cost more for different people. That's ridiculous. 2) The manager needs to make sure that the front desk people all tell customers the same thing.
I was told by two people at the front desk that if I wanted a guest to come try the place out, I just needed to sign her in. When I showed up with my guest, who would probably have signed up for membership; I was told this ridiculous thing about a $20 day pass. How about giving the member the benefit of the doubt instead?

Love planet fitness, specially this location. People there are nice. Staff is helpful. Water fountain broke the other day, so they didn't let me pay for water bottles. Free water bottles for everyone. I call that good customer service. Also, its nice to feel that you are not being judged when working out. I think that's why they attract so meany people. Plus their prices are great. The stretching area could use more space. Other than that I love this location.

It's a gym. You go in, get geared up, and start to raise the old heart beat. The place is clean, and they have a locker room to store your stuff, though you must have your own lock, or buy one from them. There are other services as well like tanning booths and massage chairs. They have dozens of the core exercise machines and a nice quantity of the rest. They even have side rooms with targeted workout configurations, like whole body and core work outs. The staff is friendly and the location is clean.
