I love going to Studio on Main. Chic studio in downtown Westport, lots of stylists and colorists on hand, reasonable pricing for the area, and always a great outcome. I've gone to a few different stylists/colorists there and I've always had a great experience. Staff is friendly and the studio is open and clean. I highly recommend Studio on Main for cuts or color!

Convenient hours, location and pricing! The location is right on the square in the downtown business district of Independence and is easily accessible. The lunch time yoga and pilates classes are my favorite. They are every day and only a half hour long which is perfect for a quick work out, breaking up the work day, and distressing. The classes are intense enough that you increase your heart rate but not enough to make you really sweat which is great when you have to go right back to the office. The pricing is also amazing and the lunch time classes only count as half a class for those who purchase classes in bulk. There are 4 different instructors that teach the lunch time classes and they all have their own style which helps keep the classes new and interesting which is a bonus for those who get board easily. Love it!
Ashley did a great job on my color. She was diligent and conscientious. Plus friendly! Not just slapping on color without any concern for outcome like some salons.
Amy and Charmaine are marvelous. Always look great and feel great when I leave. Get lots of compliments on the cut and color
This is by far my favorite salon in Westport. I visit every month to get my color done and I always enjoy my visit and the results. The salon is modern and bright, with great views of downtown Westport. Aphrodite is such a talented colorist that I would recommend her highly to anyone.
I am a larger woman, and although I'm not completely out of shape, it is difficult for me to do a lot of exercise. In most gyms, my lack of fitness, and the instructors are so intimidating that I'm deterred from joining any classes. At Studio on Main, I am treated with dignity and respect, and my body is honored by modifying the exercises to my level of fitness. I finally found a place where I am motivated, and I can really stick with the program. The instructors are fantastic and I really enjoy the spinning class, even though it is pretty rough at this point. I know that soon I'll be in shape and be able to keep up with the class though. I think everyone should try out a class on Studio on Main at least once. It is affordable and is really great for you!
