Worst place on earth. Do not go here. Do not start here.
This gym has the best variety of equipment in the area
Great gym, great equipment. Great management and great ownership. I've been going there a long time and I have no complaints. They just expanded and offer fitness classes and probably doubled their square footage.
Facility is rather small. I counted 10 different locations/stations/machines where the person just using had not reracked/replaced weights/equipment. Spent more time looking for stuff than actually doing my routine. Spoke to manager, who was nice enough, but justified actions of members ( should I have mentioned I was a member?). She also said she usually replaces items each am! So nice of her to pick up after the irresponsible. Will not use this facility again.
I would not recommend anyone use this facility. What I was promised with a personal trainer did not happen. I was told 2 months ago that my last payment would be in November but they drafted my account again for December and are now telling me that I have to physically come into the facility to stop the payments from coming out of my account. Never have I heard that a written notice (which I have done) is not sufficient for ending a contract that technically has ran out already.
Love the feel of this gym. Always clean and Calvin is always so helpful with whatever I need!

A really good workout
A really good workout
I had a very bad experience upon trying to join their richland Mississippi club. The supposed owner is in my opinion a blatant racist bigot towards minorities. I would never join such a club and will tell all those I come in contact with with not to affiliate with such a club. Theater jackson, pearl and Florence clubs are much better.

Good and clean gym
Its clean the people are friendly / incourging and very inspiring
Amazing fitness atmosphere! The members are friendly and staff is amazing!
Decent gym, clean. Not the best, not the worst. Has the essentials. Could use a water fountain (unless there's one I didn't see). Dumbbells go to 85 and then jump to 100's. Limited, but, again, it serves it's purpose.
Only thing I lost in here was respect. and $420. That's all I lost. I'll never, ever step foot in here again. I joined this gym while on business and have since returned home to Memphis where I use my current gym membership with ATC(much better). After speaking to the owner Blaine in November about my account still being charged, he advised me contract expired in December and I needed to write a letter of cancellation. He said that December would be the last time I was charged, and that he would "go ahead and get the whole cancellation process started, all I had to do was send that letter, whenever I got a chance". Never was there a time-frame mentioned, urgency, or anything. He was very cool up until this point, and casually said, send in a letter, I'll get you all squared away. You won't have to deal with any more charges. A couple weeks later, I typed up the letter and mailed it. I, then received notice in December, from the fitness company, advising me that I still owed $42 and they would be drafting me in January. Again. I called Blaine and after going back and forth and quoting policy and my contract and 30-day notice over and over and over and over again, I asked him why he hadn't told me any of that when he was buddy-buddy on the phone. "I'm sorry, it's in your contract, nothing I can do." Of course there was Blaine, you could have cancelled the auto-draft, but you care more about money, than your image. And that's why this place gets one star. To some of us $42 is hard-earned and not taken for granted.
This one is under new management...Blaine is very active in getting to know his members and helping you reach your goal. I prefer to go here due to the help and motivation I receive to keep me on my goal. It's very clean with plenty of equipment and the tanning bed is great too. You won't regret joining this location. I will even drive 15 min to go.
