This is a great gym. The enrollment process is easy, the staff are friendly, the trainers are not only knowledgeable and helpful, they really will accommodate different levels of fitness or old injuries to personalize the workouts for your goals and where you are at. There's no judgement or pressure. The equipment is new, the facilities are very clean, and the place has a positive vibe. They ask for members' input on how to improve as well.
The gym is well appointed and has great facilities. The trainers have helped me reach my fitness goals beyond anything I could of hoped for. Thank you guys!
Amazing staff and nicely decorated facilities and shiny new equipment. I like that they have a centrally approved music playlist too. Very impressed by my visit.

Poor design on the remodel! Everyone works out in one room and there is lots of empty space ! SAD to see this great place so degraded!

The cardio equipment is good although a few to some of the pieces of equipment have minor problems, ie the buttons don't work etc. The weight room is, in my opinion, unacceptably small. There is only one power rack. Also, management is unable to resolve what should be basic issues and will not get back to you unless you hound them.
However, the pool is nice.

As an out of town guest whose phone died, the front desk staff was amazing. They printed me directions to where I was staying and were super helpful. Sauna and pool were good

Great staff and gym, sometimes feels a bit small but I can always find a machine.
Staff is great here! Recently renovated and well equiped.
This is a great place to workout over your lunch break. They have lots of group fitness classes between 11:00 and 1:00 including body pump, boot camp, tabata, HIIT, spin, yoga etc. In addition they have a nice weight room, a pool, racquetball courts, a gym and saunas. It's bigger than it looks from the outside.
No parking, inconsiderate members-loud teens and such can be uncomfortable. I can't rely on the pool being available. Staff is friendly and the gym is underutilized so it's great especially after new year's! YMCA needs more competitive pricing and this facility needs parking.

Great selection of equipment. There are plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, step machines). The weight studio is well stocked too. The facilities are clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.
I'm looking for history of downtown Y in the late 50s. My brother n I learned to swim on corner of 10th n Cedar. Is it the McNally School of Music now or apartments or what now? What happened to the pool there?
