Convenient location to get a workout in at anytime of the day
The staff is very helpful
So far, so good. Low stress, nicely bare bones gym that has everything I need. 24/7 access means it always works w my schedule.
Great gym! Rarely ever crowded and all the equipment is in great condition.
Awesome gym with everything you could want for a good workout!
Equipment is old and not maintained (ellipticals aren't stabilized). Staff is wildly unprofessional. I called to update my credit card number as the prior had been stolen - they didn't update it so my payment was declined. I decided to just let it decline because at this point I wanted to join a different gym. THEN the payment was updated (which means they wrote my card number down!) and I was charged. I went in to cancel and they charged me for yet ANOTHER month after. When I asked to talk to a manager - they TEXTED me instead of call. Facilities not maintained well enough to warrant $40 a month. Straight Crooks.
Update 8/22 - Eric showed a lot of empathy and reached out to me direct - service recovery is a huge component of a successful client-facing business, and I value a manager who takes the time to do that.

No straight up bench press - I can't believe how prevalent this is across snap's locations - such a basic thing. No place to do deadlifts safely. You have to be really careful lowering the weights or people end up staring at you like your breaking a faux pas. The other major problem I have with this location is the wretched smell and humidity. It's clear there is a ventilation problem. I've spoken to staff and they blame the adjacent jimmy johns - seems to me that jimmy john's would also reek and be humid if that were the case. Even if jimmy john's contributes to the smell, a dehumidifier costs about $100. The thing is - the humidity just seems to be from all the people and that really is a nasty scent and feel. Eventually you adjust. Staff are very nice, my qualm is with equipment and stench.

Update 8/21 - I've noticed a few people have mentioned how management here is aggressive. That has absolutely been my experience as well. Snap was gracious enough to reach out to me on this review and I will be contacting them back in turn. Every business deserves a chance at service recovery and I am a fair person.

I recently went in with a question regarding bank charges that hit after my account was closed for over 2 months. The manager immediately became hostile and aggressive, and told me it wasn't his job to help people who can't read contracts. I asked him why he was yelling at me and even if it were something I didn't understand there's other ways to tell me than insulting me. When I first closed the membership, there was no copy of contract given to me due to a broken printer and he said he would email it but never did so I had every right to go in and ask to see the contract. When I finally did get it, the date of final payment was way before the date they took money out. So he had absolutely no reason to belittle, insult me or yell at me. Even if I was wrong it was completely unnecessary to be so aggressive and disrespectful and I'm appalled that they think it is ok to treat people in the community this way. I would completely stay away from this place, at least this location. I literally had to remove myself before even finding out if there was maybe a glitch and my membership was still open so essentially this guy was too intimidating and hostile to even ask a question. I just had to realize that any question or concern I had he saw as a reason to argue and remove myself. Worst experience ever in any gym. *** ADDING TO THIS POST as the only way to reply to this owner. Whom stated that they pride themselves on honesty but then said I purchased my account online and didn't use for months. He knows very well I opened my trial through him in the club, I ended the trial after a month and was charged for a month I didn't want but didn't dispute those unwanted charges because I failed to cancel my trial in enough time not to be charged for a month. So that's on me and I never made an issue of it. But, after 30 days passed and I came in to see why I had been charged AGAIN he became immediately argumentative and disrespectful BEFORE even showing me my closing contract, which mind you I'd never been provided or accessing my account! He stated that "upon accessing my account he informed me why I had been charged" is completely false. He was already yelling at me and telling me it wasn't his job to help people that can't read a contract and had not at all opened my account info for review, or provided my copy of the contract. I would never intend to discredit any business owner and felt quite justified in bringing to his attention my options to protect myself as a consumer with my bank, as well as let other consumers know about this issue especially if he was unwilling to even provide documents or at least an explanation to illustrate why I was still being charged monthly for a trial month that I opted out of. Even if there was something I didn't understand, his unwillingness to explain respectfully or provide me documentation was completely uncalled for so of course I reminded him of my other options of recourse. I would never ever had mentioned making a poor review or contacting my bank if I did not absolutely feel that these charges were unjustified and that I was being treated unfairly. I will continue to stand up for myself that I had every right to ask questions and review a contract and he became hostile BEFORE providing any documents or explanation. To accuse me of theft for leaving the location with my contract speaks volumes to this situation. I have every right to a copy of that contract, as well as to leave an incredibly hostile situation. Unbelievable.

I love going to this gym. They have all the equipment I need and their trainers are really helpful. I have never had any issues with this place.

Good location and very friendly staff members!! I've always had an amazing experience here and it's a great environment.
I've been coming here for about the last 2 years or so, usually in the mornings around 7-9. Since I live in the neighborhood the location and 24 hour access has been convenient. The gym is certainly on the smaller-medium size, but I've never had a problem with waiting for equipment at this time.
While I've been coming I've seen a few equipment upgrades, which is nice. This included adding an additional squat rack (there are two), a trap bar, rowing machine, and lots of new cable attachments. They also redid the interior awhile back.
Staff and trainers are friendly, and always helpful with questions or advice.

Love the location! Convenient and affordable. The trainers and equipment are exactly what I need when I need it.
As someone who is new to the gym scene, I appreciate the knowledgeable trainers at this facility. I have been able to get all my questions answered, in addition to receiving valuable tips on maximizing my workouts. The facility has nice updated equipment and is always clean and inviting. I would recommend this Snap Fitness location to anyone looking for a great place to get in shape!

Hope this will be a helpful review for many people. I would give this place a 0 if i could. The place is not big enough to begin with, but there are always a lot of people. Working out here was ok until i decided to cancel my membership for personal reasons. When i talked to the manager Eric, he was using aggressive tactics to convince me to keep the membership there when i said no already. Granted that i work in business, this is a very poor strategy and made me pretty angry for being aggressive. Then i couldn't cancel my membership right away because i didn't give them 30 days of notice, which is fair. However, after making this a huge deal, he had canceled my account without informing me about it. So when i went back the same week, my card didn't work and i couldn't work out. When i confronted him about this, he didn't give me any answers as to how this happened, but re-opened my account. On top of that, i found out that i was over-charged for my last month at the cost of over $80, when i was informed that monthly fee is at $34.95.

i cancelled my membership in April and i have been charged twice since my cancellation. Sick of dealing with this inconvenience. The management needs proper training in how to execute their administrative work and manage their clients in a proper manner.

Great management with active trainers. One of the best gyms I've attended.

Friendly staff, decent amount of equipment, good price for what you get.

Horrible time all around dirty equipment people smoking crack in bathroom please im going back to anytime or la fitness the worst of all the places ive been
Simple but affordable gym. Has the basics, however it was recently remodeled and the equipment is nice
Awful service. I was locked out, went there THREE times when a staff was scheduled to be there, left 2 voice mails, and spoke to a customer service rep who assured me I'd receive a call with steps forward to re-activate my card. When someone was FINALLY there during schedules staff hours -I cancelled my membership. She assured me I'd still have access to the gym for the rest of the month, yesterday I went... STILL NO ACCESS. Awful gum! Went to Planet Fitness- it's $10/ month, someone is always there, and it's so much bigger!
It is very convenient, 24/7 and near to my home. Love the addition of a rower, box for box jumps, kettle bells at my local St Paul location. Next up, stair climber. The separate room is great for more free space for activity.
I've been apart of snap for almost 10 years and I generally like the atmosphere! Great place to exercise and get in a good workout.
Though, few of the stretchy bands have snapped and have been waiting for a few weeks to see if the franchise manager gets 'em replaced. Please get on this!
I love working out here. New clean equipment and very friendly hard working staff. The atmosphere is nice and courteous. The customers here reflect the neighborhood, nice and polite. The peak hours are busy, but what gym isn't around 3-5 pm.
Great parking
Cheap price
Squat rack has been broken for almost a week now. I'm assuming they're going to fix that.
Pretty good, been going a while but will probably switch. In 5 years or so the price has gone up by a good 15% (for equivalent package) and they actually have LESS equipment and TVs. They spent a bunch on adding a (usually empty) staff desk, new flooring, and some paint but not a dime went into exercise equipment. There are less aerobic machines and less TVs than before. I'll probably switch when my contact is up.
Very nice man working front desk when we came in for a trial. No heavy pressure sales. It could use a few more fans as it is a bit heavy in there but overall a good efficient gym if you just need a workout without shower facilities etc.
Clean. Well run. Good equipment.
