I love My Strength for a multitude of reasons. The staff is well versed with the correct methodology to achieve total body strength. They have encapsulated an effective, fun program to do just this. I look forward to my workouts and know I am being properly guided for my own unique situation. The staff, owners everyone is the best. There is nothing to not like about this program! This place has been life-changing! I first learned about this type of high-intensity training from the book, Body By Science, and wanted to track down a place in the Twin Cities that follows this protocol, and I'm glad I did. Kevin, Alex and Dan are phenomenal people that truly care about what they are doing. The workouts are intense, but they make sure you're following proper form and doing everything you can to maximize your time in the gym. It's a tough 20 minutes, but I feel great the rest of the week after incorporating this into my routine. They take the time to work with you to discuss your goals and track your progress. At 40, I feel stronger than I have in my entire life, and the aches and pains I was dealing with I first came here have all but disappeared. Highly recommended.

I have been going to My Strength Studio for just about 3 months. As I round the corner to 50, I wanted to add muscle growth to my fitness routine, but I don't like the weight circuits in the gym. I've known for a long time about the benefits of high intensity slow movement weight training and this program does it incredibly well.
That said, the thing that makes it great are the members of the team. Each one really cares about me and that helps motivate me to keep going.

I have been coming to My Strength Studio for almost 3 years now and It has been a wonderful experience. I want to build muscle and become as strong as possible in the most efficient manner, without injury. The one-on-one relationship with the trainer, as well as the methodology of slow workouts to muscle failure allow that to happen. I think that everyone who thinks they don't have time to build muscle should try this once-a-week workout for 6 months and see the results for themselves.

I can't say enough about this place and this awesome workout!!! I have been working out with the Strength Studio team twice a week for just over a year now and the value that it has added to my life and my workouts is incredible. Having a quick high intensity workout built into my week (and just 20 minutes a session!!) offers great peace of mind especially when life gets crazy and time feels extra precious. I have seen dramatic improvement in alignment and body mechanics as well as increased strength and endurance not only in my other workouts but also in my day to day!

Hands down the most efficient and effective work out I have experienced. I am six months into training and continually impressed by the progress I have made. Trainers are highly knowledgeable and promote a safe and customized workout based on your personal goals and needs. With time constraints and a busy schedule, these workouts have been key for me in maintaining my fitness and not wasting time meandering around the gym.

After struggling with shoulder pain, I decided to begin training with Strength Studio over 4 years ago. I now have no pain and continue to train on a weekly basis. Great personal trainers who are knowledgeable and professional!

I have been very involved in sports and athletics since I was young, even participating in collegiate athletics. After getting married in 2008 I tried to continue lifting weights and running; however, after we started having children it became increasingly difficult to make time to continue strengthening my body. Then I experienced Strength Studio for the first time. I love to challenge myself physically, but I wasn't ready for the intensity of the mental challenge. It was a totally new philosophy on lifting weights and I was sold after my consultation and first trial run. It took a little while to learn how to do each of the exercises (i.e. each lifting machine) correctly and took me just over 15 minutes to totally "kill" my body! I could hardly walk sometimes my muscles were so fatigued! The sweet thing was that I did such few reps while lifting (because everything is done super slow) that I would never have any lactic acid build-up; thus, I didn't have any muscle soreness through the days following my work out. Now, more than 2 years into these work outs, I'm easily as strong as I was when I lifted 5 days a week, and my work outs are down to just over 10 minutes once a week!! The trainer I work with (one of the owners) is very aware of what I need to do to grow stronger each week (by adding weight, making me do an extra half rep, etc.). In addition to helping me grow stronger, he also takes time to care for and encourage me in my personal life. As questions come up about strength, muscle issues, and eating habits he is very knowledgable and someone I can trust! The work-outs are VERY challenging; Strength Studio is not for the faint-hearted!! however, no matter where you're starting point is, they will help you move forward and will encourage you each step of the way! Now I finally have time to continue working out and don't feel like it is the first thing scratched off my to-do list. I love Strength Studio because I know I'm getting stronger, being cared for, helped, and challenge to grow!
