The teachers are very friendly! I felt very welcomed being new to the studio. I went to the movement meditation class, which I would highly recommend! Learned a few new things that I will definitely use in my daily meditation :)
Rise offers a welcoming community in a great space. The teachers welcome all students and want to make the experience as inclusive as possible. There can be a lot of unknowns when trying yoga. Rise does a great job helping new students and offering a great practice to folks with more experience. They offer a local retreat and engaging book club. Rise also supports community organizations in the area.
Great studio, and great teachers. However, be ware of the punch cards, they expire less than 6 months after you buy them, and they only offer to extend it if you buy another punch card... This really turned me off from this studio, it seems like the priority here is financial, not to make yoga "affordable and accessible."
Note: I attempted to call and explain my situation, and the only option they gave me was that they would extend it if I bough another punch card. No thank you, I'll take my money elsewhere.
