An amazing community of great people that are diverse in many ways but like minded in their commitment to fitness and health. Very fun and engaging workouts as well!
My fiance and I really enjoyed our time at this box. This gym has a great sense of community and the coaches are genuinely committed to your health goals regardless of where you are at in your fitness or nutrition career. It's a great bargain when you consider the amount of investment the coaches have in your development.
I've been going here for over half a year now. The community and coaches are great! I do enjoy their programming (how they structure their workouts) and their dedicated Olympic lifting classes. Lastly, there is no bar or judgement on your fitness level. They make it just about you getting better.
Wonderful gym! I just recently started going here, but love it. Fun to work out as a group
Top Gun was an excellent place for me to start doing CrossFit. The staff and other members are welcoming, encouraging, and really want to help you meet your goals!
I loved my time at Top Gun Crossfit! The coaches are knowledgeable and the members are so fun and inclusive. I really liked their focus on technique and safety - something important to me as a beginner lifter. Would recommend TCG to anyone.

Great gym. All the instructors are super nice and helpful. Every workout can be adjusted for all skill levels. Very friendly atmosphere.

I did the 6 week boot camp and the 4 week barbell course. They were great but didn't prepare you to be able to understand what was going on once you started real class, which defeats the purpose. Also, the environment is super jockey and competitive. Which, yes, I know, cross fit.... but not everyone is there to get ripped. Some of us just want a consistent work out in a fun environment.
One of the coaches berated me (he said he was encouraging me...but I felt singled out for not being as fit) during a workout even after I asked him to stop to the point that I had to go outside to cry and get away. When I came back in to finish my workout, I asked everyone to not talk to me. They didn't listen so I had to move to the far side of the gym to get away from their 'helpfulness'. The next day, the owner's wife sent out a passive aggressive email to the whole gym and cross fit culture being one where we encourage each other. When I wrote back to her, she responded by gaslighting me telling me I misinterpreted the situation. I went back a few times after that but just never felt comfortable.
If you liked PE in school or did team sports, you will likely feel right at home here. If you didn't but want to be welcomed and accepted at where you are at while you try to get better, look elsewhere.

Not impressed with this location at all. I joined a boot camp that was advertised falsely. I joined it in hopes to challenge myself and get stronger. I have heard only good things about CrossFit so I was super excited about this class. The first day I got there, we sat majority of the class. But I realized it was the first class so I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt.
The class was super small, and was a class for beginners. Time was spent showing how to do a push up, sit up, and basic things you learn as a child. I only attended two classes and realized what a waste of time and money this class was. I explained myself to the gal in charge and explained that I had found a better class for myself that is more suitable to me and more challenging. I offered to pay for the classes I attended but asked for my money back and she refused to do so. I have been working out for years and I didn't even break a sweat at this class. I am completely frustrated that they refused to refund me any money for this class being a complete joke. From Day 1 it was more than obvious this was not a challenging class for me and was not the right fit. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and that is not how you treat a customer if you want people coming back. I do not deserve to be out $250.00 for a class that was not suitable for me and that I do not attend. I realize there may be other classes there that are more suitable to me but I didn't join this boot camp to eventually become a member at CrossFit. I joined because it was a 6 week program that sounded like it would kick my ass.
I have told enough people what a joke this class and how terrible the customer service was but wanted to post this in case anyone else was thinking about joining this facility. HUGE rip off. If you are semi in shape and are looking for a challenging work out, DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. You will waste your time and money and not get either back.
I dropped in here for a couple nights. Awesome box, one of the best equipped and clean I've ever been to. The coaches and group were great and made me feel welcome. Excellent experience overall, and you can't beat the $10 per drop in.

I love the coaches and community that gently pushes you to do more. The workouts are tough, seemingly impossible, but you walk away proud of completing it. Good mix of males and females and folks at different abilities.
I joined this gym over 3 years ago. One of the best things about it is the community that the owners have created. You always get a sense of camaraderie, support and encouragement from other members and coaches. They setup workouts that are challenging, but doable, In a newly expanded and spacious space. I am so grateful for the growth I have seen in my fitness. Please keep up the good work!
My top reasons why I joined this gym and actually show up for workouts.
1. Great work out format. You work on skills, rotate your lifts and the work outs are designed to give you a good work out but not over stress any one muscle group/joint/etc.
2. The coaches are very conscious about working out safely and avoiding injuries.
3. You can work out hard, sweat gallons, breathe fire like dragon and fit right in. I have lost 20+ lbs and made a lot gains in strength. The process wasn't pretty, but I didn't have to worry about that here.
4. Nice venue. The new space on Cedar Avenue has plenty of room for workouts.
5. Friendly patrons.
6. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
My wife and I dropped in while spending the weekend in MN. We had a great time. The environment and people are super welcoming, which is not always the case. Great workout, great coaching, and loved the T-Shirt swap.
Before you sign up for this place do yourself a favor. Look up Steve Loeding the owner of this Crossfit Box.
He's a washed up old racist and hateful cop who used to enjoy terrorizing the Somali community.
Perhaps you agree with him that people should be harassed before they commit a crime. In that case great! Join his regime and have a lovely day.... I on the other hand have met incredible and inspiring people from Somalia and Ethiopia(some Muslim and some Christian) that are more kind, gentle, giving and understanding than ex-Officer Loeding could ever aspire to be. They love and appreciate this country more than he could fathom in 100 years.
Looking into crossfit I came across this box. There is absolutely no way I would ever put a penny into this man's pocket.
Disgusting would be an understatement.
Happy WODing kids and love your neighbor as yourself... as God once said ;)
