Nice gym , wish it had separate sauna for females and males but great service.

The staff are really friendly, it's kept super clean and the exercise room has giant windows so it's bright and open feeling!
Two courts open for use with a good small track around the top for walking.
Great location, but only thing is I wish if they upgrade their strength training machines for the price we pay. And change their layout in the fitness center

Great place to be a member! If getting in shape and staying in shape is on your mind then the YMCA is your place! Plenty to do-swimming in a 9 1/2 ft pool, walks, jogs, run, work out equipment, yoga and also many classes to try. Daycare for the kiddos so parents can get there healthy on!!
Locker room was gross and cramped. Turned around and nearly collided with a naked man's junk. They smelled HORRIBLE!!! And had very few facilities.
I will be keeping to the downtown Y.

Nice workout facility. They have a good variety of machines. The downside is that it is small and can get crowded during peak workout times. They have a pool, sauna, and hot tub, as well as a variety of machines and free weights. They also have a basketball court and running track.

Great place to shoot some hoops or get a pump in. Perfect place for families of all backgrounds. Theres an exclusive womans night in the pool area every Thursday afternoon/evening.
Some of the staff are kind of rude. I called them few days ago as my nephew's were playing basketball ball but the guy hung up on me. There was rude lady the day before as well. I would recommend for any family to join with this location. I'm pretty sure that there are lots nice staff there.....

I have been a member of the YMCA community for almost 8 years now. The Blaisdell location is clean, the staff members are friendly, and they update equipment on a fairly regular basis. The only downfall is that it gets so busy sometimes that I have to wait for machines and free weights. The sauna could also be larger, but there is only so much space to work with.

Charlie, Elija, and the black girl that work evenings are all involved in gang stalking. They persistently gang stalk me every time i try to go relieve stress and work out. I have been goint to that ymca since 1985 and never have seen such unprofessional behavior. I am a vulnerable adult and feel totally over whelmed by the idea of going back there. I spoke with two managers and so far noone has made me feel at all safe to go back. Also im sure this is routine for them so please watch them if you see them. They will do it to you aswell.
Locker room always smells. Staff is nice. Clients are not so much, lol
This is my favorite Y. The Kids Stuff childcare folks here are the best!
I got a 5 day pass and it was pretty good. First day water wasnt hot in the showers and no Jacuzzi but next day everything was up and running...and parking on the weekends is crowded but overall ok
The place is small but great because of the equipment. I am a fan of the multipurpose racks. This location is better than downtown Minneapolis.
It's a nice Y facility, with 2 basketball gyms a pool and a pretty good weight area. They have 2 multi use racks with platforms that are nice and the staff are usually pretty friendly.
My daughter has been swimming for the Blaisdell Blazers for 3 years. Great coaches and staff in a safe environment. We love this Y!
Nice y location with somewhat recent renovations done. Friendly staff and nice amenities. I just wish that the walk in pool was separate and actually warm. It's all one pool - connected to the lap pool, so it's just as cold.
The staff is friendly and the fitness center is decent size. Good amount of free weights, and of course a ton of cardio equipment and machines. It's unfortunate that the trainers have to act as babysitters for people's kids. If parents here were more responsible it would be less hectic. The basketball court is nice but is usually packed. Haven't tried any other services.
Nice Clean place only problem is when i am focusing on my workout there are kids in my way all the time running around like its a zoo kids should not be allowed in the weight lifting area or on running track with there basketballs. period there are enough children areas there for them to play at..other then that its a nice place.
Welcoming gym with everything most people need. Basketball, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, full array of machines and weights, classrooms for group classes. Been coming here for at least three years and have never had a problem. Best to come in off hours if possible because the parking lot gets a bit crowded (but there's also plenty of bike parking if you're a biker). Would recommend to anyone.
Good gym. The space is utilized well but still not the largest weight area. As always, the early to mid afternoon seems to be a good time to go for more elbow room. Very kind and informative staff that greets me with eye contact and a smile.
