Good facilities
I like how the history of the place was preserved in some ways, in hallways and black and white pictures. Cameras everywhere, maintained well, clean
Extremely disrespectful staff, Sherry in particular. I have come to the CBC as a visitor with my family a couple of times this year. Every time I go to the front desk to check-in, Sherry, the front desk attendant at the club meets me with extreme hostility. I am unsure of the reasoning behind her attitude, but every time I see her I feel extremely uncomfortable. I feel as though maybe her negativity towards me has something to do with my race, as she does not treat anyone else of a lighter shade in that manner. After the numerous complaints and emails sent about her behavior towards customers I would expect that the Calhoun Beach Club Athletics center would improve its team and remove all who jeopardize their quality of service. Overall, I was excited to become a member of this iconic gym community, but I would rather attend a gym that actually makes me feel welcomed in the facility.

I've had a membership for almost a year now. You never have to wait to use any of the equipment or machines. Outdoor pool is great in the summer. Great workout facility!
