Great little gym. I only used the workout equipment and the MAC (mens athletic center) room. This Y has an adequate amount of fitness equipment and was able to find everything I needed. The sauna and steam room are great and shower facilities are great and kept clean. Luke at the front desk was more then helpful and accomadating.
Beware if you sign up and are supposed to receive free months. I signed up in june last year for a family membership and was supposed to pay 12 months and get 3 months free. After seeing they charged me in june my 13th month I called. Not only did they not call me back they didnt refund my money either. Then they charged me again for July. I called on the 15th and they sent me to voicemail, I didnt get a callback until the 20th All they can tell me was that the person who does refunds hasnt been in. Its the 28th and I have now paid for two months that were supposed to be free. I followed my end of the contract, and now their just stealing money from me, I just want my $132 that they violated the contract and took from my account. I have tried to be professional about this but looks like that's not working.
I love the water aerobics. The Kids Club has the greatest staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone makes you feel welcome. I love the Y.

The YMCA is a wonderful and clean environment with great staff and well kept equipment. I think there should be more power racks and rooms to do body weight exercises.

Went to a party there and it was great and the employees there went out of their way to make sure the party was a success!!

Lots of different activities through out the year. Also classes paid for. I believe this facility should be transparent in revealing partnerships, find distribution supporters and Board members. Also, if any communicable diseases known in awareness through complaints. However, they should revealed the methods of prevention of communicable diseases that can be passed on. I would recommend information on cleanliness expected and places to receive flu shots, prevention of fungal infections from swimming, hepatitis C prevention from sweat and places in community to seek treatment.

Great place to work out love the environment the only problem is we signed up for $61 a month because it included swim lessons baseball and football teams for my kids but apparently they like to do bait and switch cuz now in order to get swim lessons it's $20 a month on top of my $61 a month membership fee
No better gym in Saginaw! Friendly atmosphere, knowledged staff, day care, extc. The Y has so much to offer and is a gem in our neighborhood.
Don't let the name fool you, the environment is NOT representative of Christianity or a family friendly environment. I had numerous issues enrolling my kids into the swim lessons while we were members. I have been given the runaround repeatedly from the staff when there is a problem. Every time I've been here, they've had music playing with sexual lyrics, lyrics about drugs or alcohol, or both. Unacceptable environment for my family to be in. They might tell you that kids can use the workout floor, but they don't bother to tell you that they must go through an orientation and if they are under thirteen, they may only use the cardio machines.

The YMCA has a feeling of community where you are greeted by name by a staff that is truly welcoming and accommodating. Though their wellness floor and free weight area provide all the necessary equipment to get and keep you in shape as well as a wonderful, caring staff to help you reach your goals it is more than just a gym having monthly activities and events that are adult and child friendly,
I feel guess of members need more then 3 times to come and then add a healthy restaurant with it and theyd make big money.
