Well intentioned but poor communication.
Unlike other local Rochester or Oakland County athletic/sports associations, when you sign up your child for an activity with RARA, don't expect an initial welcome/reminder email with 1) information that a class or activity will begin on "X" date at "Y" time nor 2) instructions on how to prepare your child for the first class. RARA expects you to read your receipt received at the time of purchase for instructions on a class or activity for your child. However, not all instructions are included. So, RARA further expects/anticipates parents to surf their website to find additional instructions, etc. I-9 and other local sports associations at least have the courtesy to send an email with a general overview, welcome and reminder of your child's participation in a given activity.
