Was rather distracted and disappointed when the owner of the studio sits in on a class and does her own stretches and poses completely ignoring her own instructor and customers that keep her business going.
My first time doing hot yoga and absolutely loved it with Mindi. Very nice studio.
Just fyi, this review is by David, not Polly. I happened to see a sign while walking downtown for lunch advertising 2 weeks for $20 for hot yoga. I went above Kewpees where Firefly is located thinking I would get some details for my wife. Little did I know that my short conversation with Abbey that day would turn into 2 years of practicing yoga for both Polly and I. In fact, Polly has become an instructor, and I try to take a "few" classes each week. Abbey refers to me as the Yoga Ambassador, a title I love, because I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about the studios, the instructors, and all the incredible people I've met.
Love this place so much! the Barre 60 classes are my favorite and also the Slow burns. I prefer this location over all of them in the area. Friendly, clean, and Abbey the owner is always great to work with! The parking isnt so great, but its the one con.

I have been going to yoga classes here once or twice a week for about a year and a half. Studio is clean and cute, and they have mats and towels available to rent for $2 if I ever forget. I enjoy the variety of class types. Instructors are all friendly and welcoming.

I love this studio! It is quaint and lovely! There are nice exposed brick walls and a cozy feel makes for a great yoga session!

I have been coming routinely for a couple of months. I love the feel of the studio. All of the instructors are welcoming, and offer advice and suggestions for those of us who are new to yoga. They are always willing to answer questions after class. They walk around during class and monitor styles and positioning and recommend you not go beyond your safe limits. It is always an awesome workout.

The staff is warm and welcoming. This workout is amazing and a life changer for me.
This is the most beautiful yoga studio in Lansing. You can't help but feel great after walking out. MMMMMMMmmmmm great!
I always feel much younger & more flexible walking out of the studio than I did walking into the studio!
I have come to about 6 classes now here at joy yoga and I absolutely love them!! All the instructors have been wonderful so far, and the hot yoga classes are the absolute best! The cameras are a little uncomfortable but once the class starts you forget all about it and it's not a big deal. I'm weird about being barefoot in such a public space, but they are really good at periodically sweeping and wiping the floors. I would definitely recommend joy yoga.
Instructors nice sessions cheap
