Best gym in the Kalamazoo area. Been coming for over 3 years. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The saunas are great at their locations

I have been working out at Strength Beyond for several years now. The employees are friendly & helpful and they have several great locations that make going to the gym convenient for everyone! Highly recommend!

When I read some of the reviews I was worried about the gym. I went anyways! Glad I did... the culture of the gum members is so welcoming, staff more than happy to help. The equipment is just fine. I have a trainer 2x a week. Was told exactly what my contract would be. Nothing dirty about it. Not super fancy; but!!!! That's why I like it. It's a nice place to workout. I recommend this place.

Everytime I go to strengh beyond I am beyond satisfied, the employees are always ready to help in any way possible, and they always have a great attitude. I love the wide varity of equipment, it helps me get in a great workout everytime whether its with one of the trainers Lynn, or by myself, I know that I will get in a workout that meets my needs. Also other perks are the music is always dope and they are open 24hrs. Definitely recommend strength beyond.

Honestly, the cost is not worth the facilities. When I first activated my membership I was not explained that the money you pay up front is an "activation fee" in the amount of $100 in ADDITION to the outrageously high monthly price plus an extra charge every year for new equipment. Isn't that what your monthly payments are for?? Now I'm regretting my choice every day and wishing I had gone to a cheaper and better kept up gym. Every aspect of this place feels like it's designed to just suck more money out of you. Not the kind of feeling you want from your gym

I really enjoy this gym. They offer classic equipment for a great self driven workout and both the gym staff and the users are always respectful. I love going here. No lunk alarm and it's never over crowded!

My kind of gym. Been there about 8 years. Has helped me rebound from surgery. Stay strong stay healthy will be there until I can't no more. Peace guy

Great cost effective gym in "the Vine"; wish they had recycling and a bottle filler water fountain! Could stand for some more self service cleaning spray bottles too

The people who operate this gym and the quality of equipment are terrible. There are many better options to go to in Kalamazoo. This is what your gym experience will be like: it's always disgusting. From the equipment to the bathrooms. They hardly clean anything and they only half ass vacuum the back. They don't mop the floors or the mats. So much of their equipment is broken and doesn't get fixed for months. Parts are missing. They don't even have clips for all their machines. However Mark buys houses! They advertise having large amounts of cash but invest none of it back in. They keep trying to add DIY projects like the new locker rooms. Which are awful. There is no privacy or bathroom or bench and there is one shower with a see-through curtain. Everything about this gym is a joke. The paper towels, toilet paper, and gym towels are never stocked. The doors don't work half the time and there aren't night staff so you can't always get in. As with all the other user reviews: if you do end up going here never pay more than 20 and make them write you a way out of your contract. Like if you ever move. The Stadium Drive location is a bit better. Whoever manages that location appears to actually care a bit.

This gym is Horrible and a total scam!! I came in for information on a free pass they offered me and they stole my information and now trying to force me into paying for the membership!! Telling me there's nothing that can be done.. Everyone beware of even thinking about this place, Total scam!!! Management needs to clean this place also if going to brag about service.. Everyone has a better chance at a good workout from home compared to this!! I wouldn't a roach to step in.

As with any gym, be sure to get the full details of the cancellation policy in writing prior to signing up - as it is conveniently absent from the contract. As membership rates vary from person to person, be sure not to sign up with the neither initial $40 rate, nor the "discounted" $30 rate. Aim for the $20 rate that some manage to get.
