great community. I've been doing Crossfit for a few months now. The workouts are an hour long and very effective! I've already noticed how much toner I've become. Initially I was concerned that I wasn't in good enough shape to do Crossfit but the workouts can be modified and it's up to you how far you want to push yourself.... more
Sanctuary yoga is a wonderful venue for all levels of yoga practitioners, but I especially like that many are over 40 years old. Veronique and the other teachers tailor the proactive beautifully and mix in contemplative time to address the mind as well as well as the body.... more

Great studio, clean and inviting. The teachers are fantastic! There is no other studio in Kalamazoo that I enjoy practicing yoga at than Down Dog Yoga Center. By far the best!.
