Great studio, clean and inviting. The teachers are fantastic! There is no other studio in Kalamazoo that I enjoy practicing yoga at than Down Dog Yoga Center. By far the best!. A gorgeous studio, a great range of classes offered, wonderful to be a student and a great place to work! Kristin has poured her heart and soul into this place and it shows.... more

Sanctuary yoga is a wonderful venue for all levels of yoga practitioners, but I especially like that many are over 40 years old. Veronique and the other teachers tailor the proactive beautifully and mix in contemplative time to address the mind as well as well as the body.... more
great community. I've been doing Crossfit for a few months now. The workouts are an hour long and very effective! I've already noticed how much toner I've become. Initially I was concerned that I wasn't in good enough shape to do Crossfit but the workouts can be modified and it's up to you how far you want to push yourself.... more
It's clean, lots of choices of different things to do there, including an awesome pool with a waterfall. OVERRATED. Terrible members and full of wannabe sophisticated people that are traveling to my hometown for a corporate conference.... more
Incredibly knowledgeable, totally non-judgmental environment.. The new facility is B-E-A-U-tiful! I love the atmosphere and environmentally conscious concept of the facility. GO GREEN!!! The staff really has created a clean, comfortable and unintimidating evironment to work out in, I also love the wide array of classes The Fitness Spot offers.... more
What a great space and great people! I was looking for a yoga class in Kalamazoo but happened upon this place that worked with my schedule. I wasn't sure what to expect with a barre class, but I felt very welcomed! Valarie was so great, and took the time to explain everything and walked me through the space.... more
I've only done yoga two or three times in the past via video. First time in an actual class and first time for hot yoga. It was a very relaxing experience. As a beginner, I was able to follow along by observing the more experienced individuals in the room.... more
