Great gym. Always has employees cleaning equipment. Lots of equipment and wide variety. Sometimes gets a little crowded upstairs between trainers and members, which is expected at peak hours. They just did a bunch of renovations. Seems to be taking awhile, though.
Poorly maintained gym. Everything is dirty, broken or in poor condition. Now that movati is opening they're finally doing some renovations. The change room has been a mess for over a month, and the completion date is constantly being pushed back. For the price to sign up of 45$ a month and taking into consideration what they offer, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Movati is offering passes for 50$ a month (They offer a lot more classes, hot yoga included, hot tub, cross fit room, cafe etc) or crunch/world/planet fitness for 10$ month is a great bargain.
Spin with an extra kick.
Kyle Essery has what it takes to motivate you to the next level of performance. I attend his spin classes on Sunday's at 9:30. Well worth the effort (if you're doubtful about getting up on a Sunday morning).
Kyle has a great approach to instructing a spin class. His energy is top notch and is very motivating and addictive. For all the years that I've been spinning with Kyle the one thing I can honestly say is that he makes hard work fun. He reminds me of why I get on a bike to begin with -- it's about the music and a great output on a bike to make you feel that much better. Like being a kid on a bike all over again.
In addition to all this I find that Kyle has a terrific approach for digging deeper as he instructs the class through a mindfulness approach. He understands the struggle that we can have in getting to the gym. He helps us to connect with our inner self and to help provide focus so that we're able to push ourselves that much further.
Keep up the great work Kyle!
Great service, friendly staff. Open 24 hours, very clean facility. Highly recommend personal training. I heard rumours about hot yoga coming soon. Really excited about the renovations. This club keeps getting better!
The gym itself is huge and a good gym, but you couldn't pay me to rejoin GoodLife. They are only interested in your money and will screw you over to get it. I got screwed out of over $300 dollars because off their shady business practices. If you want to read the full story I left it on the Devonshire Mall GoodLife Google Map review, but in case you don't want to go over there and look it up.
Basically what happened was that I had a trainer, I was up for Renewal with that trainer, the Club Fitness manager knew that I was up for renewal and that she was planning on firing my trainer, and she knew that I was with that trainer for a Specialty Service that he was the only one that offered. So instead of warning me that they were going to be firing my trainer so that if I renewed I would have to switch to a different trainer, she allowed me to renew and then waited until after the no fee cancellation period was over (you have 10days to cancel, she fired him on day 12) to fire him. Then she didn't have the decency to contact me to let me know that she had fired my trainer. And when I said that I wanted my money back because GoodLife could not offer me the service that I was paying for, I was told that I paid for personal training not the therapy I was getting and if I changed my goals I could easily change trainers.
I changed gyms back in June and haven't look back, GoodLife Fitness will never get another Penny out of me, I highly recommend you look at other gyms.
Great location. I thinks it's one of the largest goodlife fitness with many personal trainer availability. I think it only has a dry sauna no seat room. Not sure about the swimming pool

Very good gym! I go everyday and highly recommend it
I travel around Ontario a lot and goodlife is one of the better equipped and most likely to be in a town. I'm split on this gym because it has some nice amenities like the pool and rock climbing wall which i've never seen at one yet, you're going to want to have a greater knowledge and varied exercises going here. If you're use to a newer gym with some of the nicer machines, then you will probably end up frustrated looking for things like a landmine press or a some of the cable machines. I walked around hoping to see if i just missed them either because i'm not use to it or they just don't have it is up to debate. They have more of the older machines which can be awkward depending on what size you are. They do have a bunch of stuff kinda covered for the limited room they've got. Nice thing is that they have each area centralized more so that you've got a main area for legs, one for upperbody, and upstairs they have a nice open area for core or more movement based exercises, along with the cardio machines on either level. I want to like this gym but due to the above issues i just get too frustrated and end up leaving
Love the turf space training area! They also have virtual training classes on demand in the group fitness studio, really cool!

The gym it self is awesome. Always very busy. Basically an episode of Jersey shore during the day.
One of the best GoodLIfe locations. Lots of equipment and great variety. For those that love classes, there are plenty of them. Also one of the locations that has a pool. And it is 24 hours

Locker rooms were a mess. Staff told me to go to Starbucks when I asked if they had wifi. 3rd goodlife I've been to that doesnt have wifi. No towels. No wifi. The Overall atmosphere of this gym suits windsor.
The night staff people are nice and cool people but the day time staff are annoying sometimes, always trying to get you to sign up for something or put names down for a shirt, even if I tell them I don't want to, they bother you and tell you to do it. Some staff memebers I've noticed are lazy, especially I'll find them sitting in their room while I am at the counter waiting for someone. As well they need to take down the 24/7 because you guys always close early the day before a holiday and the day of a holiday

Lots of equipment including turf zone for sled pushes and circuit style training. Two large free weight sections and one small free weight area. The membership is a little on the expensive side for all good life locations in Windsor but in my opinion this dougall location is the only one I would pay for. They have a rock climbing wall too along with a yoga studio. Too many things to list but basically you can walk in with no plan and still end up spending hours here performing thousands of different activities. Oh and also pool access and good men's room (they didn't let me access women's room for the review)

The parking is aweful during peak time. But the facilitie and staff is the best in the city.
Very cool Gym open 24 hours a day even has a rock climbing wall that goes up three stories lots of weights and good equipment
Love this gym. Great atmosphere. Always open.
Best GoodLife I've been to in a long time. Lots of machines and different exercises that you could do. Very spacious and there's a rock climbing in swimming pool! Like what more could you ask for?
Excessively crowded. Parking is hard to find. Change rooms are full of geriatrics that clog up the place by socializing. Towel service is abysmal with staff making constant excuses for their shortcomings instead of improving. Staff refuse to show the proper level of contrition.
This facility has it all. It has a pool, rock climbing and 2 floors of weights and cardio machine. The staff were very nice to allow show how to use the rock climbing equipment.
Wonderful place for workouts and swim. The washrooms and locker rooms are maintained well. Gym area is big enough but during busy times, it may not be very easy to get an equipment but still you can if you go downstairs or upstairs. Don't forget to enjoy some time in the massage chairs near the exit/entry area.
Largest fitness facility in Windsor with up to date equipment, a juice bar, classes, a private women's only section, and a coed section too. Friendly staff.
Great facility. Clean and most machines are available when working out.
I have been a member for years when it was Lifestyle's. Too many changes. Some positive, some negative. It seems like GoodLife was not able to keep up with the broken equipment in a timely manner. I will miss some of the staff.
best facility in Windsor in my opinion. Pools Sauna Rock climbing wall. sometimes crowded though
