I didn't start Pilates until a little over a year ago. Having played football for 8 years and taking several fitness and nutrition classes, I thought I knew all there was to know about what my body needed. I admit that I had preconceived ideas that Pilates wasn't for me. However, I can tell you now that if I had Pilates training during those football years, it would have made a big difference for me. It would have been just the edge I was looking for. Before Pilates, year after year I would wake up feeling like an old man. I just thought it was normal after all those years of football, plus I have a compressed disc in my lowest lumbar and there's not much you can do about that except surgery or strengthening your "core" which is one of the main benefits of Pilates. Now at age 40, I can honestly say that every morning I wake up feeling like a teenager and it's all thanks to Brenda and her amazing team. Thanks Brenda, keep up the good work!
