practiced at aUM for almost 3 years before moving out of the area and I miss this studio and its people everyday. there are so many different types of classes and the teachers help to create a fun and accessible space while still honoring tradition and the intentions of yoga. aUM brought me so much peace and truly helped me grow and better myself physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
This is the best yoga studio in Ann Arbor, it is the perfect way to start your morning or wind down after a long day. The instructors make the whole experience wonderful.
I have really enjoyed all the classes I have taken at aUM. It is such a relaxed environment. Chelsea is a wonderful teacher! So fun and easygoing and really tailors the class to the needs of the people in the class. Jess is also a great teacher, good for a challenge and a practice that will lead to growth. Thanks aUM for classes that I thoroughly enjoy!
Amazing place to do yoga, especially for students! The instructors are all so friendly and welcoming. They also host many opportunities for free classes in addition to sales in their packages so everyone can get the experience of practicing yoga here. I highly recommend this place to any local yogi I meet.
aUM is a really nice space -the studio is large, has wood floors and floor-length windows that look outside. Its also heated if you like having that.
The class I attended was definitely more of a workout than other classes I've been to. Since it's near the campus the clientele is pretty young on average. If you're looking to get a good stretch, sweat and workout this is the place for you.
I love aUM! The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, and the space is beautiful. There are a variety of class types for all levels, and the teachers cater well to the abilities in the room. If you're looking for reliable, inclusive, and all around great yoga, aUM is for you!

aUM Yoga provides both a great atmosphere and experience! This was one of my more recent experiences with yoga, and I've never had a class like this one! I was able to completely immerse myself in the flows and left the class feeling both extremely refreshed and calmer than when I entered it! I'm definitely planning on returning soon!

aUM Yoga is awesome! All the teachers are awesome, the classes are the perfect warm temperature, and there's even an opportunity to train as a yoga teacher! aUM is also the home to the Michigan Yoga Club. You will always feel welcome here :)

A friend recommended I try a class here and I'm so glad I did! The community was friendly and welcoming from the moment I stepped in the door. The variety of classes and enthusiastic instructors make this a great place to practice yoga, and I especially enjoy the flow-on-your-own portions of some of the classes after being guided through a flow. AUM is a great place to focus on body and mind, and any time I can get to a class after work it makes my week!
A gorgeous studio with plenty of classes to choose from. It's heated to about 80-90 degrees which I really enjoy. Super friendly staff that make you feel at ease even if it's your first yoga class. Prepare to get sweaty!
Fantastic studio for anyone looking to practice yoga in AA:) I've never once had a bad experience here, and aUM is my favorite place to decompress after a stressful week or exams. The instructors are so positive and receptive to all levels of practice, and each Vin class has a unique flow that challenges you in a new way every time. What I love most about aUM is their focus on dedicating your practice and the importance of self love which is often overlooked in other studios that I've tried. aUM is aUMazing, highly recommend!!:)
aUM is an awesome place to practice yoga! As a very novice yogi, I have been able to develop my practice without judgment. All the instructors are super sweet and make an effort to cater the class to your needs.
I love how close the studio is to campus. With my hectic schedule, I sometime find it hard to fit in self care. However, the convenient location and flexible class schedule allows me to find time for my practice. It's a great place to be!
AUM is a wonderful place to further your yoga practice! The studio is beautiful, clean, and cozy. The instructors are very well-trained and make every student feel comfortable, regardless of their ability. Their knowledge of adjustments gives students many options during the practice and they really cater to all levels. This is a great place for yogis of all levels and a great place to further your practice!
