Maaike, her trainers and customers are the most supportive and welcoming people I have ever met at a business let alone a gym. There is no judgement and I never felt uncomfortable. I was encouraged to ask questions, had extra attention provided to me while learning techniques and motivated to push myself all along while learning to listen to my body. Modifications were clearly described ensuring I would not injure myself doing activities before I was ready. I tell everyone I know to check out RAW.

For the last 4+ years I have been attending RAW. I started as a way to get into shape, but quickly learned I needed more than just better Shape. I needed knowledge, technique, encouragement as well as a program to get me to where I wanted to be. The accomplishments I have made over the years are a testament to not only my drive, but also the programs, direction and goals put before me by all the trainers. This gym gives you back everything you put into it and then some. The equipment and availability of equipment is by far superior to that of the big gyms. With a lot of unusual movements/exercises and equipment, you are sure to find you grove, especially if you have to modify a movement/exercise. 5 stars all around to the fellow participants, coaches and owner

I have been working out at RAW for the last two years. Maaike and the other trainers are extremely knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. The community of people who are members are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and non-judgmental. Workouts are tailored to accommodate all bodies at any and all fitness levels. I would highly recommend RAW.

Funny post about the social media. Exact same reason I left. Too bad, good gym, great people, but if you want to take a break from work to squeeze in a workout, do not come here. You will be on facebook and open yourself up. People are stupid about discretion nowadays. 50% plus of divorces have social media in discovery.

I went with a friend when I was visiting from CA. I belong to a box out in LA and this place in Taunton is ok but not CF affiliated and I saw a TON of bad form. I cringed at some of the Olympic lifts and how they where performed. My biggest complaint was PRIVACY!!!! The owner/manager was constantly taking pics of people working out. Asked my friend and she said the owner posts everything on a public facebook page. No permission, etc. That is it for me. In the internet age, privacy is everything.
