Machines need to be updated. I have seen them get cleaner than the last 6 months. Showers and sink needs to be changed. I prefer to go to Medford, Revere, or Downtown PF when I can. Better equipment and even more clean. I hope they invest in upgrading soon the malden gym.

Theres always a machine that's broken but it doesn't really stop you from having a good workout. Only 3 stars because I've needto other planet fitness' with way better updated machines. This location just needs a good update. It literally looks like what planet fitness used to look like when it first opened.

Solid gym all new free weights and resistance machines within the last month. Only 3 squat/bench machines which is rough. The bikes are placed underneath the TV's so you can't watch TV if you would rather cycle than run I keep getting told the TV's will be fixed on the bikes but it's been several months and nothing has been done.

I had to cancel my membership due to disability. They proceeded to bill me for the next month anyway, after I cancelled. They refuse to offer a refund for the charge of the membership that's no longer valid. Dishonest company! Will never do business with them again!

Not many options for machines, which leads to a lot of pacing around and waiting for them to open up. Seems like no matter what time I go, it is always packed with people. Throws off my whole workout plans/routines.

Facing horrible experience. Cancellation of membership is big hassele. Before joining it was not specified we need to send the letter for cancellation. I had to move out of boston due to personal reasons then i spoke to manager and it was agreed for cancellation but it was actually not done. Now i moved out of country still fees getting deducted from my account. Frds ensure u get all the information right before u join.

Not my fav Planet Fitness but definitely gets the job done. Lots of machines and weights, televisions on the walls. Travel down to Northgate in Revere to get the brand new machines in a brand new gym with Netflix, workout tracking and a little brighter atmosphere. But cant beat the onvenience of a Planet Fitness on almost every corner.

This is the dirtiest Planet Fitness I have ever seen. I showed up on a Sunday. It was pretty bad in the afternoon. In the room where the massage chairs are they could not get the TV changed off of CNN. So if you want to relax and get a massage you still have to deal with all the political Strife that is America these days. The equipment is in good repair and the staff is polite even if they are ineffective.

Simple and clean gym. I really like the atmosphere inside and good staff.
There is only one think, the faucets in men restroom are so cold.
I hope they will change it soon.

Very limited machines, unhelpful staff, and a dim atmosphere. If you're just going to run on a treadmill with music playing this would not make a difference though

I don't know where to begin. The manager is very snappy to most questions. The water fountains and refill station has not worked properly in two months, everyone is frustrated and complains with no resolve. They keep saying the filters are clogged and defective but just get them fixed. I am tired of the stories with no results. On a hot day the whole place stinks. On any given day the bathrooms smell like nothing I have ever smelled in my life with NO ventilation. Most people take showers in there bare feet, I wouldn't step in those showers. The four sinks are always desisting, sopping wet, covered in germs and bacteria, people do the farmers hanky quit often. Urinals have been clogged for 5 months and it takes 4-5 flushes to get rid of the yellow, so I walk up to them and they are yellow from the previous person who might have flushed it once. If I have to take a dump I would never use those disgusting toilets. I know its a cheap alternative for working out but we should be able to breath clean air, drink from a water fountain and speak to a manager who is a problem solver and is not rude. Corporate should step in. Even with all these nasty / unhealthy conditions they don't budge on letting anyone quit or get a pass to attend another planet fitness if you payed for a year up front.

As to Planets response. The issue with your manager doesn't sound right? e-mail you and take a look? You know the issues with this manager just read the reviews. I am sure you have had mega complaints but cooperate lies at usual and denies. If you want to take a look get in your car and drive over and hang out in the bathroom for an hour.
