Recently went to this PF. In all honesty this place is dirty. Water bottles all over...trash overfilled...women's locker room also dirty...its just dirty. I understand people are there to work out but it certainly doesn't need to be a dirty place to work out in. There a few equipment that were broken. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

I was a member a few years ago. the girl at the counter when I went in to sign up needs to find another job. acted if I was bothering her. and did not explain any of the different options of signing up. I basically had to ask a million questions to get my info.never once did she not have a scowl look. no walk around, no explanation of Anything, very uncomfortable. Bad enough fat people like myself have a difficult time coming in to sign up but to deal with her I almost left, however i needed to join. I was coming in twice a day for 3 months and never once did she smile anytime I ever came in. Hopefully she has moved on because I am rejoining again.
As far as the facility , I give it a 4 aside from the people there for a social club and hogging machines while on their phones, rather than a Gym to exercise.
Also kind of annoyed with the computer generated responses to these reviews. They Definitely are not from the owner as stated, because the responses are all similar, " let management know" type responses.
OK rant over.
rate this place a strong 4.

Use to be a member here. This place is insanely crowded, rules are never enforced here. Multiple people consistently hog the lifting benches all day long. If you only use the treadmill this place is for you, if you want to lift weights find a real gym.

I love this gym. They don't put up with people who criticize or make fun of others. They're great customer service. And many machines and extras to choose from. I feel at home here.

Its an okay environment. Wish there was more amenities but still enjoyable. Get pass the odor that lingers and you would have a good workout

I walked in for the first time to register. The lady did not greet me or welcomed me. But proceeded to greet the white lady that walked in 1 to 2 minutes after. Please, at all cost lets end prejudices in this country. Especially in a place like a gym where people come to feel at ease. The truth you dont know who's walking in and out of your business. We cant end prejudices and racism in 1 to 2 minutes. But, lets make a change within the workplaces and businesses out there. Treat everyone with respect. I would say she continued the registration and proceeded to being nice for some reason. Still, prejudices are not acceptable , she was a latino girl with black curly hair.

I have worked out at PF's all over the country as a travel nurse, the PF in Lynn is AWESOME. Great staff, lots of equipment, space! It's great!

This planet fitness location is as good as a gym can be. There's a huge number of machines; although compared to the Salem one, it's smaller. The staff are respectful, friendly & very clean.
If you're a stickler for gym clothing etiquette, you may be somewhat disappointed in what some people workout in, but to me it's not that big of a deal.
The only thing I wish this location has is more bench press and calf machines. Other than that, it's solid!

I have a feeling the Salem planet fitness is nicer so gonna check that out. This one is ok, I mostly just give donations every month and don't really work out much anyways.

Gets the job done. Never too crowded. Have the black card so can go to any PF and there are alot of them. Some are way better than others.

A decent place to work out. Recently improved with many new machines. Good staff. Some of the members could use a lesson in workout etiquette. Reasonable membership fees.

Also the manager accommodated me when I had to take a medical leave due to a serious injury.
