Was traveling through Boston; taking the Yoga Tune Up Flow class was the smartest thing I did this entire trip. Nancy was patient, thorough and crystal clear leading the class. Learned a few new things and left with a spring in my step. 5 stars!
As a longtime student of the owner (Marc McDonald), I followed him here when he left the Sports Club/LA to open his own studio.
I've been doing yoga for almost 8 years - and since it's become so mainstream, it gets harder to find classes where I can learn some of the more advanced postures and transitions. Marc's approach is to teach so that everyone in the room feels like they're getting something out of it - whether its a longtime yogi like me, or someone who is just starting to practice yoga. He just has a way of making everyone in the room comfortable with where they are in their yoga practice (without dumbing class down or making it impossible). He also does some pretty amazing yoga adjustments (for those who want them).
I also love what he's done with the space (it used to be Yoga Power studio) - he's transformed it into a very tranquil, zen space - the new waiting area is a great place to get to know fellow students before/after class.
I would recommend this studio to anyone who wants to learn more about yoga from one of the most talented teachers I've ever practiced with - from beginners to advanced practitioners - you will enjoy getting your sweat on at Om Warrior and getting to know the people you practice with.
