Most people are nice, but will share my experience later.

They have a fantastic swimming pool here (which is hard to find in Boston). Around 25 metres/yards long with 4 lanes and almost nobody is using this pool, even when the rest of the gym is really crowded.
After swimming (or normal gym workout) you have a choice of sauna and a steam room.

This gym is wonderful to go to after work and on my weekends off.

Spa reception staff is terrible. Not well trained, not polite and always unable to find booked and confirmed appts ( appts confirmed by Equinox Spa themselves!) on day of service. There is always confusion on their part, nobody picks up phone when called, and usually can not find attendant at front desk....for an establishment to advertise itself as a sophisticated sports facility and spa, it definitely does not live up to its reputation.

Large sports club located right in downtown Boston with great equipment and facilities. Also great training staff - pricey but worth it.

Expensive, always packed and partially unprofessional staff (to become a member was painful, at some point Marc threatened to cancel my membership as he was claiming he didn't have all documents, after my wife and I had filled everything out twice already and our credit cards were charged. We could fix this only by reaching out to the management!).

Also some of the trainers had an attitude that left me speechless when I asked if there was a chance to stock up the kettle bells (there was only one 14 pound and I needed two).

I recommend the David Barton as it has much better pricing, a better number of members to space ratio and very nice, helpful staff.

Large space, great view but Not to the Equinox standards. Need to be renovated:-(

The gym is very clean, and the other members there are trustworthy enough where I don't have to be paranoid about leaving my stuff unattended. Also, I love the ice cold Eucalyptus towels tha they offer !

My main gripe is the minimal/ old body building equipment, so be prepared to wait on someone if it is already being used. For example, In the entire gym, there is ONE hamstring leg curl , worn out/ fatigued squat racks and stretching mats, and ONE barbell rack of weights.

The personal trainers at the gym are helpful and knowledgeable. It's expensive , but it's well WORTH IT. I was training with weights for a FULL year, on my own, and used YouTube and Instagram for ideas on exercises. They helped , but honestly, I only saw minimal results .

I trained with CHRISTINA and WOW! I saw results in as little as 3 months! She taught me EFFECTIVE exercises for my body and tremendously helped my form with weight training. For example, my main problem area is my stomach. I used to do A LOT of crunches, it sucked, and honestly I was never motivated to do them. She taught me how to do certain ab exercises that were soooo much more enjoyable to do and, more importantly, effective. Also, I used to avoid certain weight training exercises because they hurt - but she was able to quickly recognize my errors in my form and fixed them. If you want RESULTS, you need to train with PROPER form. Even if you think you are doing it right, you probably aren't, so double check it with a knowledgable trainer!

If you aren't sure which trainor is for you, I highly encourage you to do a complimentary session. You can get a very good feel for the trainor, if he / she fits your needs. If you want muscles, go to a trainor with an awesome body , like Christina ! She will pump you up!!!!

I've frequented the other locations in the Boston area (Franklin St, Dartmouth St, and Chestnut Hill) and this one just seems to fall short. The facilities aren't as nice, the staff aren't nearly as attentive, and the locker room cleanliness and amenities leave a lot to be desired. I've provided feedback to the club, but alas nothing has come of it. While the location is convenient for getting a workout in before heading to the office, I am not sure that this particular site is worth the cost - it just doesn't seem to live up to the Equinox standard which I have grown to know and love.

One of my favorite locations by far. I love the vibe as well as all the amenities that are available to its guests. Everyone was very friendly, honest, and thoroughly helpful. The facilities were maintained clean and all of the added morsels were constantly being refreshed and refilled. I will definitely be coming back to this location for treatments.
