The studio is pretty average looking, a little run down. The teachers often do not instruct how to get into a hard pose and students sat around classes numerous times trying to watch other students (who were trained yoga teachers taking the class) doing the pose and try to figure it out. The teacher saw students who did not know how to do the pose but did not take advantage of the time to teach, instead she just delighted in the success of her more advanced students pushing themselves into more extreme postures. In terms of headstands and other more precarious poses, this hands off teaching style could lead to injuries. The classes often seemed more about a workout than about learning how to do a pose correctly. The staff is not overly welcoming either.
