I used to love this gym. The staff was much friendlier and welcoming.
Now the staff are not that welcoming except for few faces I always see smiling, the manger is just rude.
I have yet to come in and see here smiling or welcoming, few days i was in and un aware i thought i did something wrong to here by her way of looking at me lol.
Overall, okay. I've experienced much better customer service in other locations.
Very busy Planet fitness, clean, knowledgeable staff. Large lot but was pretty much full when I arrived. Try coming during the least busy times. Showers and restrooms are all the way down and ro the left next to the fitness training which is left of abs and stretching. Free weights are to the right as you come in. Mateo is the homie that works at the front make sure you say what's up to this hard working gentleman he deserves a raise.
I love the gym, the staff is very friendly the gym is very clean there are always enough machines just one thing I wish they would be more vigilant at is the 30 minute express workout. There are people who just go in for one machine and stay there for 20 minutes to half an hour which is very annoying when your trying to follow the steps and rules of the workout. It says it is monitored but I feel that it definitely is not. Otherwise I would highly recommend this gym!
I left this gym and I came back to join in before than a month later.
There is some very good staff working there and they have enough equipment for anybody who wants to get in shape. The tanning is a plus and the place in general is clean and smells good. I would definitely recommend Planet Fitness because anybody can afford that and get a better version of theirselves
One of the best well managed Planet Fitness locations. I have been to several locations around Boston and I could tell this location is cleaner, nicer and have more machines. Location is great for me with plenty of parking spots. Of course the staff are super friendly and nice. In few words paying $10 a month for this is a great deal.
I am a member of PF in Malden. I went to this one to see how it was and I was close by. It's small, some equipment doesn't work. I am a Black Card member and I was told I couldn't use the black card eara because nothing worked guess I got my monies worth. Also staff like there phones better than the members. Will never go back to this location again.

It seems that planet fitness on the fellsway..is falling..The equipment is breaking .. Water faucet..has been out for three weeks..They just put one water cooler in the front.. So it took them three weeks to respond.. The massage chairs also down for over a month.. Now a bed massage is out of order..
I'm not sure why the cleaning solution rack is filthy.. The dirt build up.. Around the paper towel rack.. Is also alarming..
You opened strong..The staff turnover is a sign that mmangent..needs to get their act together fast.. Cause this train is out of control..

When I first joined months ago, the place was very clean, but the locker rooms were always freezing! They had the ac running in December and when you brought it up to management, they would tell you it's a corporate decision they have no control over. During the Winter, and it was a COOOLD Winter, they barely had any heat. You would freeze after showering. Starting around sometime in February, they rarely cleaned the locker rooms and now the place is always filthy. Some of that is due to the disgusting customers that are in the Medford area, but they also don't seem to have anyone clean either. After months of being told that everything, even the channels on the tvs, are controlled by corporate, I was done after seeing written on the entrance doorway "This is franchise owned location ". A franchise. Meaning corporate has little control over anything. They are just too lazy to fix anything and will just blame it on corporate, smh.
I been going here for a month now and i like it. Its big enough, clean they have alot of equipment, weights, plenty of cardio machines. You can get a good workout. Remember its not the gym its you when it comes to your fitness goals.

If I can choose 0 star, I will. Wi-Fi is rubbish and the hot water for shower never really hot. Maybe that's the way to force you quickly finish your shower.
Never too many people, plenty of machines available. Clean, friendly staff, and tanning rooms! Best one around.
Excessive people do not supine equipment, Wi-Fi is rubbish does not work employees even smile but to see that they did not want to be there. I do not recommend.
Wasn't able to cancel my membership over the phone. You have to actually be there to do it in 2018. How convenient!
I love this Gym! My husband and I go 5 times a week at different times and all of the staff is great! I don't understand these negative reviews. We're 63 and want to stay fit. It really is a judgement free zone!
The water is super HOT!!
I have an allergy in my hands and the hot water makes them a lot worse.

This is one of my favorite Planet Fitness locations to visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The men's locker room and the fitness floor are maintained good (wiping, dusting, vacuuming and all). The equipment is generally all functioning and the weights and cable machine accessories are generally placed in their correct locations. I find most of the patrons here to be friendly and they are regular patrons at this location.
It's a pretty standard PF. Very busy even until 9-9:30 at night. The bathrooms and showers appear to be relatively clean. They have a better pull-up/ropes area than other PFs such as the ones in Quincy Center and Downtown Crossing
I love the nice staff and inclusivity, the varied clientele, and the free weight section. The place is always clean and has a friendly vibe. I really wish they hadn't squeezed the (already maxed out) stretching area to make room for a premium-only machine room, though, now there is very little space for floor exercise unless you go at odd times. and I really wish they had a stretching cage.
Really love this gym! I've been going to this location for a little over a month now and I've never had an issue. The place is very well kept and I love working out here!
Gym hours say 7am to 7pm Sunday. Here it is 7:41AM and me and a group of people are waiting outside in the cold. Please teach your staff how to make it to work on time.
Beware of thieves. I signed up for a one year membership and on the day I did this, I lost my checkbook in the lobby despite three of us looking all over for it. Someone later turned it in and they called me to let me know it was safely in their lost and found and I could come pick it up whenever. After returning from a trip, I went in to work out and to get my checkbook. SURPRISE! It wasn't there and they don't know what happened to it. They told me they looked at cameras and saw it go into lost and found but never out of it. Huh? And then the manager said that she asked the staff if anyone knew where it was and they said "no" so that was that...as if someone would raise their hand and admit to stealing a Coach leather checkbook. I was also sheepishly advised by another staff member to close my accounts and get new checks (thanks genius)...which will cost me more than my one year membership when all costs are taken into account. No refunds were offered, no offers to cover the cost of my stolen items were made...only shrugs given and instructions to contact higher-ups via a form on their website. Stay classy.
Woke in great mode ready to work out. Upon arrival the so called General manager his name is victor was at the desk. When my husband and I checked in he pointed his finger at us and was like "hold on a second" went on to rudely interrogate us. We have been members for about a year and a half and this guy ruined our day so bad we ended up canceling our membership. Awful management culture.
