I went here for a year, the place was very dirty and only half the equipment worked, the second half of the year they raised my dues from 29.99 to 39.99 without telling me and started charging me extra fees. This tacked on well over 100 dollars. They lied about hidden fees when I asked if there were any. Very dishonest people working here. I will change my review once I receive a refund that was promised to me, which I feel is unlikely.

Same equipment broken for 7+ years. Awful policies regarding membership dues and payments. Super hard to cancel. Regional leadership is rude and unhelpful. TSI is an awful company.

Super negative experience trying to cancel membership. You cannot cancel online or over the phone. Required to go in-person and then there is a 45 day delay on the actual cancellation (as in you get charged at least another month, maybe two)

Can attend group exercise classes (some are really good).
Decently big, never had issues with it being too crowded.
Locker rooms are mostly cleanish
Got a discount membership so totally worth it.

This place needs a HUGE update. The Fenway area has become a high-end neighborhood and I am very surprised that this small, cramped , filthy location with all of its old equipment is still around. I'm hoping that a more modern venue opens soon as I will be the first to join! Not worth the money they charge for membership.....

All you need in a gym. Great trainers, everyone there's super friendly and helpful. You get your money's worth for sure. Not anything fancy, but you're there to lift, not get pampered.

I concur with other reviews - the place needs major updating. The boiler just broke again. I go there primarily because I work nearby. I usually go during lunch so crowding is never an issue. I go there ~3 times a week and I think I got my money's worth. WIsh they had a pool as some other BSC locations.

Decent gym. Decent equipment. People here complaining about equipment need to do less complaining and more training.

I concur with other reviews - the place needs major updating. The boiler just broke again. I go there solely because I work nearby. I usually go during lunch so it's never too crowded, and I can always find equipment that works but I can see both can be issues during peak hours. I got a promotional rate so if I can make it there 2-3 times a week, it's not a bad deal.

Place needs renovated, the gym and locker rooms are dingy and most of the equipment is older and in some cases rusty. Better gyms in the area

BSC Fenway in Landmark Center has good quality equipment but within a tight, hallway-like space. Obviously with any gym there's going to be overcrowding from 5pm-7pm, and this gym is no different. However, pre-work hours (5am-7am) and weekends are usually pretty good times to go. The price is above average, but standard in Boston.

I chose this gym simply because it was close to work and not really for any other reason.

Many of the comments on here are accurate. It is pretty dingy, the machines are old, there aren't really enough of the main machines (bikes, cross trainers) for working out in peak times. Really more focused on weights.

There aren't many options for classes either but when I have gone to the instructors have been fine. I do remember one not turning up and after about 15 - 20 mins of waiting, the manager asking us if we could take it ourselves! Seemed like a pretty silly idea.

The staff has always been perfectly friendly but the trainer was hard to get hold of. I'm currently pregnant and wanted to be careful with what exercises I did which is why i tried a trainer. But if you have the odd question about how to use a machine for example, there is no one to ask. All trainers are busy with their clients. I find this to be extremely unsafe and very annoying! Every time I asked about it they tried to up-sell more training sessions which is a ridiculous for one question. Every gym I have ever used before, no matter how cheap or expensive, has had someone who is available to take care of the floor. It is simply a matter of safety.

I noticed a couple of people mentioned that they had trouble with their cancellation and were overcharged. I have just cancelled mine so I will be looking out for this. I have noticed that i have had no email to confirm this has gone through.

It's fine. Small. Dingy. Not too crowded but not empty. Not terribly expensive. Literally just fine.

Poorly maintained facility led by indifferent management. Facility looks and feels dirty. Much of the equipment is old and in need of replacement or refurbishing. Many machines show rust (from sweat) and accumulated dust/dirt. A considerable number of TV monitors atop treadmills and elliptical machines don't work properly (or at all), and complaints go unheeded. Of monitors on three rowing machines, only one works properly (one not at all--with posted sign indicating replacement not possible). Weights and other portable equipment is often left scattered on the floor. While this results from member carelessness, it's ultimately the responsibility of staff to assure such items are returned to their proper places.

Sorry place.

Nice clean facility part of the Boston Sports Clubs network. Staff and trainers are very helpful with questions or concerns. Sauna and steam room well maintained. Equipment well maintained.
