Compared different places around Central and Kendal and VIM is the newest one at reasonable price. With the membership you also get lots of great free courses!
Great place to workout, lunchtime is best.
Very clean and never busy with a lot of modern equipment. Definitely worth the extra price over some other cheaper gyms
Lots of great instructors, but Haley is especially awesome! Her classes are fun and challenging.
I went through a drama with the management but they were willing to fix it within 2 days. Happy end.

I quit this gym after reading the managers response. Please go ahead read all the lower scored reviews. The manager slaps everyone that gave lower score in the face. It is their true color.

Rock bottom PR. I attached pictures as an evidence of having a membership and you can see me paying 1000$ bucks over the course of months.

They will lie to make you pay more. And take no responsibility.
They have a discount plan for certain companies. My
company is one of them. I asked them initially for a discount. They somehow said my company is not enlisted therefore no. Later I found out that I should have received the discount. Made an inquiry about it. Waited a week to get a response. Didn't get any response. Had to go front desk to ask second time about it. Then answer I received was they said they have no refund policy and there is nothing they can do.
I am rich enough to not care about penny 20 bucks that I paid extra. I am literally paying 425 bucks a month for a personal trainer in this faciliy.
It's more about integrity of running a business.
You make a mistake. You fix it you dont excuse it by saying it's against company policy.

So my review is conflicted. The gym is clean and the machines are well maintained, the elliptical selection is kind of sup bar but i like the weight area a lot. The gym is also never crowded and has great climate control. I haven't used personal training yet and probably won't because i can not in good faith give them more money than i already have. My main issue is that management is not trustworthy and super rigid and it feels like they do not care about members.
Before I signed up I asked if they have specials since they're more expensive than most gyms in the area and was told that really wasn't a thing. I dragged my feet for a while because I liked the vibe at my other gym even though they had some serious shortcoming irt to equipment.
So I finally bit the bullet and joined and two days later they started a "join without paying an initiation fee" promotion, so I asked if I could get a partial refund or something since it had literally been a matter of days and also having been told they don't do promotions. They said no and said that these aren't common. If this were a huge chain I'd get it but it's supposed to be a boutique gym and this is how they treat people?
Now the promotion is one month free on top of the no initiation fee thing so I can only assume they're not doing well.
It's just frustrating because I was willing to pay full price, has been told promotions weren't a thing, and kinda feel slapped in the face. Suffice it to say no matter how nice this gym is I will have a constant discomfort with management and can not in good conscience recommend this gym to anyone because of it
I get that this might come across as entitled and i'll own that, but they just so did not remotely care, and i imagine anyone who signed up last week just got unrepentantly screwed out of a free month as well. so yeah, i mean i've had better experiences dealing with management at giant chains and i'm bummed that my beginning of being a member of this gym started off on such a bad foot but what can you do. i'm still gonna go here, i'm just gonna feel less than psyched for a while since i paid nearly $200 more than people who signed up a week after me did.
I joined about a month ago and I really like this gym. Classes are great - I especially enjoy Chisel & Cardio Sculpt with Azure. both facilities are fairly large, never had an issue getting a a cardio machine or weights. best deal in the area.

It was a decent gym I went over there with a friend and had a decent time I enjoyed the word workout I'll be looking forward to going back

Nice gym! Great group fitness classes! VIM also has a large cardio area, large weight room, locker rooms with showers; the gym has towel service so it makes using the showers doable. Really great gym
Best value gym in the neighborhood if you like group fitness classes!
Lots of free classes with membership, plus you can rent a locker long-term
Gym is incredibly dirty and management is rude. Would not return!
