I have been trying to find a yoga studio in Brookline since moving back here a few months ago. I've tried Down Under Yoga, YogaWorks and also Coolidge Corner Yoga. The yoga at all three places was terrific, but the facilities at all three are extremely crowded and lack the basics of comfort. Of the three, from a facilities perspective, Coolidge Corner Yoga was the least bad, but I still would not be interested in joining. As a sweaty guy, the most important thing to me is the ability to come out of fast-moving yoga class, get completely naked, take a nice hot shower, and get dressed in clean clothes before heading out into the world. That was not possible at Coolidge Corner Yoga: there was a line for the one bathroom that has a shower, and although the website says "We have three bathrooms, one with a full shower, as well as two changing rooms," in real life the changing rooms are just tiny alcoves with curtains. I rated Down Under Yoga one star for their facility, and I think Coolidge Corner Yoga is 3 times as good, so I give it 3 stars.
