As a runner with a bum knee, I was desperate to find something that would give me the same workout and the same "charge" that a good run does. I'd never enjoyed working out on the ergometer before, but joined PowerRowing on the recommendation of a friend, and am a total convert! The teachers are wonderful, the workout is tough but fun and the people--staff and other members--are really nice and welcoming. This is a low impact, high intensity workout that is especially good for those of us who have used their knees too much for many years. And, man, am I buff!
