Claimed to be month to month. I cancelled. Now I got a mark on my credit report for close to $100. So in other words, they never cancelled it and sent it to collections. Don't fall for this!

Edit: So I'm supposed to have a copy of my cancellation, from about 2 years ago? I literally live in a different state! I'm gonna pay the collection service, but this review stays! READ THE FINE PRINT everyone. Or else you'll join the other reviewers like myself. They obviously do this to a lot of people and then claim it's okay because it's all legal. There's a difference between legal and good business, IDIOTS!

I was initially highly impressed with the gym and its employees. I was forced to cancel membership because I got a new job 2 hours away. Made a call to ABC Financial to cancel my account, I was told I had to cancel in person. Went to cancel my account in person and young gentlemen assured that my account was canceled properly and no other fees were owed. A couple weeks later I started receiving call from ABC Financial saying I still owed money. I called the gym and they explained that because I canceled within 10 days of my payment cycle I still owed for that month. I have no issues with policy, however, I have an issue with the mistake that was made and managements resolution. I thought that since I made I in person trip to the gym and my account was not canceled properly that the $29.99 should have been waived. I made 3 trips to the gym and eventually still had to pay the $29.99. The lost my business and my network of friends business.

Cancellation process is bulls**t. I paid for a 30 day membership not a life sentence. If you do not cancel or renew 10 days before your membership ends they charge you an extra months membership.
There are often machines broken that take way to long to fix. The mens bathroom can get pretty nasty, often only having 1 stall that is somewhat usable.
Switched from world gym cause this was on my way home, and that was a mistake. Have never had a bad experience at a world gym or other gym in general until here.
When my 30 days that I paid for is up just don't let me back in the gym. Charging $25 for not renewing my $30 membership is absolute bulls**t.
Will say their front staff is friendly, but their manager relies to heavily on their contract to enforce ridiculous fees even though his staff went against the contract for me to cancel (by allowing me to do so over the phone, which was nice) but he still threatens to send their bulls**t late fee to third party collectors to hurt my credit.
Stopped going to the gym because of injury, and once I am healthy will definitely be looking for a new gym.

My not a huge fan of gym or big gym goer. I really like the classes they offer esp. Zumba and spin classes. Nice setting, huge variety of equipment and activities/classes to participate in. They smoothie bar inside and offer other snacks as well. I really like the sauna, that was like my favorite workout LOL. I can sit, 'relax', and sweat out 1/2 lb in 20 mins[seriously]!

Me and my husband just singed back up today. We were members a year prior, but some family issues came about. We love love love this gym, our favorite place is the sauna tho. We both use it after working out for about an hour. I'm writing this mostly for my husband, because he's not much on computers. He told me that the sauna in the men's room is so much worse than it was last year. That is really really dirty, and looks like someone might have had an accident on the floor. The women sauna seems to be the same as last year, wonderful in my opinion. But maybe the guys are a little grosser than us? Either way, we still absolutely love the place, the staff and the other gym members. We won't go anywhere else, but maybe the men's sauna could get a deep scrubbing?

Awesome gym! Been here over 4 years and would recommend it to everyone. Staff is always friendly and facility is clean. Lots of great classes for all different skill levels and interest. Lots of cardio equipment and about every weight machine possible. Kids club staff is always friendly and my kids love going there. Over all great experience at a great price.

Been a member here for years. The staff is very friendly and the place is always clean. I really enjoy that this gym really takes effort to fix there equipment as quick as they can. I been to multiple gyms were machines would be put of order for weeks. I also like the variety classes offered. Best gym in the area!

For starters - I have NEVER wasted my time writing a negative review until now. This all pertains to their cancellation process. The gym itself is very nice.

I provided proper documentation in September to cancel my membership. I was preparing to PCS at the end of October. Unfortunately, the cancellation sheet must have vanished because I am still getting calls from ABC financial asking for payment. When I contacted the manager (this part is amazing) he told me that it was my responsibility to keep the cancellation form until I received a confirmation e-mail. Well, my apologies for not keeping track of a form three months after a cross country move. Even after listening to the BS about the cancellation policy, I offered to send a copy of my orders proving that I moved from the area. NOPE. He wasn't hearing it. I was instructed to fill out a new cancellation form, which I will be dropping off personally next week when I visit MD.

Have spoken to management about cleanliness, safety, lack of training, and way too much equipment in tight spaces making it hard to move around. Lack of staff. Have not seen any improvement in 2 years. All I have seen is it downgrade and management and owners don't seem to care.

His response to me was so "what's the problem what do you want to know"? I had clearly just stated to him that I simply wanted to know if there was another way to access their group class schedule. Then I followed up with another question and asked him if I could just walk in and get a copy. His response to me was "yeah we have them here". Then without saying another word he hung up the phone in my face.

I would like to say that I really like this gym and was planning on joining again because of the great customer service that I experienced a few years ago when I was a member, but after this man's funky attitude this morning I'm second-guessing it. I don't want to deal with other people's b******* first thing in the morning when I'm trying to work out and ask simple questions. Staff at this gym have always been kind in the past so I'm not sure where they got this man from but they need to keep him off of the phones ASAP!
