The instruction from Keith and Shaun is top notch. They are very personable, outgoing, and make learning/training fun. Keith has been in my corner for both of the amateur MMA fights I did as well as most of the BJJ tournaments I have competed in. He is a good friend and coach to me as well as a great mentor for his students. I would recommend this gym to anyone!
This has been an outstanding well run Mixed Martial Arts business since day one. It is more like a family, trying to make sure each member is better, stronger and more focused on what is really important in the art as well as life. Parents, your children will learn so much more that just martial arts here. Try integrity, honesty, humility but undeniable confidence! The teaching is phenomenal.
I saw Gunn academy featured on Discovery channel last year, so I had to check it out myself when I hit the states last month.
It's even more amazing in person, they have a beautiful facility and amazing instructors. Top notch facilities and they made me as a walk in feel like family. I will be back that's for sure.
My normal gym is in Singapore but when I'm in the states I see Coach Keith and the guys for my BJJ fix.
What a great learning environment! With some 30 years of combined experience between Shawn and Keith no question goes unanswered. You can just pop your head into class for two minutes and learn something you didn't know the day before. Highly recommend for kids and adults!
I am in law enforcement and I attended Gunn Academy for about 9 months. Unfortunately I got a new position and had to work evenings and could not make it to class during their hours. And with in those 9 months I had used what I learned in the field with success. Not to mention it's an awesome workout. The instructors are great and they really know what they are talking about. The students are real friendly and very welcoming. This academy is awesome and I definitely recommend it!!!

This place is legit. Keith and Shaun are the best instructors/coaches/mentors out there. I recommend Gunn to anyone whether you have experience or not. They have super positive attitudes that would make anyone want to come back, and the instruction is taught in a way that both experienced and inexperienced grapplers can understand and learn more every class. These guys are the best trust me.
